A warm welcome awaits you. The Captain David Kelley House is an upscale bed & breakfast set in a restored Greek Revival sea captain's home built in 1835 in the heart of Cape Cod. Architectural gem featuring hardwood floors, crown moldings, and wainscoting. Three covered porches overlook beautifully landscaped yard and gardens. Listed on National Register of Historic Places, the inn offers six beautiful guest rooms with private baths, A/C, flat panel TVs, WI-FI and hair dryers. Beautiful beaches are just a 1/2 mile walk down the street, Hyannis, Osterville and Barnstable are a 10 minute ride away. Breakfast is truly an event each morning, including our famous "Scone Wars", featured on TV! After a day (or evening) of fun, return to your own private oasis at the Captain David Kelley House.

Tom and Rick have tons of talent, they are thoughtful, kind, they do absolutely everything well, energetic, I simply don't know how they do it every single day. The BB is impeccable, clean and it has all you need and if they don't have it or run out of, they will get it for you or offer a solution. They remember your preferences and taste. Upon arrival our Canadian flag was there to welcome us. Small details but it goes to show they care to see you. And the scone war... well you will have to book a room to understand what's at stake here. It is very well located on the Cape near everything (beach, restos, shops etc...) We have met wonderful friends here at the BB and are now booking together to share more wonderful memories. If we could give it a 6 stars we would.

Our room was perfectly appointed with remarkable furnishings overlooking Main Street.in bucolic Centerville. Such charm and grace is difficult to find. One of the best places for ice cream is located a pleasant 5 min. walk away. Don't miss it. Thanks Tom and Rick for another wonderful stay at your home. Breakfast served with your specialized scones and lighthearted entertainment is always a hit.

I have a summer home in Centerville MA but due to a large family wedding we opted to stay at a local inn to feel like we too were on a vacation. The Captain David Kelly house was the absolute perfect choice. Not only are the accommodations comfortable, clean, spacious with a quiet and needed AC (it was in the ‘90’s outside), the hosts Rick and Tom are tremendous. With a delicious breakfast featuring homemade and famous scones, you also are treated with fun, campy entertainment as you dine on a lovely terrace. The location is ideal too. You can easily walk to the beach, have an ice cream at Four Seas and visit The Country Store where there are plenty of tasteful souvenirs and penny candy for the kids. We will be back!

Wow - our hosts, Rick and Tom, were the best! Gracious and highly entertaining. The scones were delicious, the scone completion even better, and our anniversary serenade was particularly memorable. The location and grounds were great.

I had a wonderful stay for a long weekend in July. The accommodations were beautiful and well maintained, breakfast was so good and of course, the scones were excellent. Rick and Tom were entertaining but also went out of their way to ensure the comfort of their guests. One hot afternoon I sat out on the porch for a while and both owners came by at different times to see if I needed a fan or water. They also had a scone and cup of coffee to go waiting for me on my 6 AM departure. They pour their hearts into the Captain David Kelley House and it shows!

Like the stars and the moon, the CDK House is magical in every sense of the word. A Cape Cod staple and bucket list favorite, I can't think of a better place to stay when visiting this part of Cape Cod. From the fantastic accommodations to the breakfast coupled with entertainment, there is an enchantment here you won't find anywhere else. The owners (Tom and Rick) are so kind, generous, and fun, and that's just the tip of the iceberg. Craving a warm, delicious, homemade baked scone? Need a good laugh in the morning? You'll get all of that here! Don't walk—Run to CDK House to experience a style and elegance the other places simply don't have. When life hands you a scone, you know you're right at home!

After reading so many positive reviews we decided to spend a couple of days at this beautiful Inn. Aside from it being an historical building with stunning grounds, the highlight was the hosts Rick and Tom who treated us like family from the first moment until we regretfully had to leave. The rooms were immaculate and well thought out as was the rest of Inn. The beds were beyond comfortable and when I requested a club glass for a glass of scotch I planned to enjoy, I found it minutes later on the dining room table along with a shot glass. Can't say enough about the breakfasts.....Superb would be an apt description. And scones? No need to ever look any further. Truly amazing. One wouldn't typically expect being entertained at breakfast but stay here and you'll have tears in your eyes as you enjoy a classy breakfast and world class scones. This is our new go to Inn on the Cape! Thanks Tom and Rick!

We had a beautiful visit to Captain David Kelley’s for our 30th anniversary. The hospitality, food and entertainment were amazing. The Inn was perfect in every way and our visit was magical. We started everyday with an incredible breakfast filled with laughter and fun. Recommendations and reservations provided by the hosts made our stay even more wonderful. Thank you for the lifetime memories. We can’t wait to visit your beautiful home in the future and couldn’t recommend it more.

We recently spent two delightful days at the B&B. From the impeccably maintained grounds to the exquisitely decorated rooms, this is beyond a five star accommodation! Then your breakfast starts you smiling for the day as your hosts, Tom and Rick perform the “Scone Follies “ while serving you breakfast. Highly recommend and will be returning!
