My husband and I have stayed at the Captain David Kelley (CDK) House 3 times. We recently spent 3 nights there. Rick and Tom did a excellent job of making sure everyone was socially distant, masks were worn and sanitizing was a priority. My husband and I felt completely safe and comfortable. Rick and Tom are wonderful hosts that make you feel like family. The CDK grounds are absolutely beautiful. We love it so much that we got married in the garden of June 2017. Rick and Tom made our day perfect! The rooms at CDK are cozy yet elegant. We prefer the Rachel Room, it’s our favorite. Each morning Rick and Tom do a presentation of the scone which is the second course out of a three course breakfast. The scones are delicious and the presentation of the scone never disappoints. The CDK house is the only place we will stay in Cape Cod. Thank you Rick and Tom for everything!!!! Bill and Jenn

Captain David Kelley House is a one of a kind experience! Rick and Tom go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and special. That can be hard to find and they do it sooo easily!! The accommodation is above par...clean, crisp and every room is quintessential Cape! I have stayed in two different suites and never heard another guest, it’s so quiet. The beds are really comfortable and cozy. And the chocolate at bedtime is a nice touch, never mind delicious. The breakfast is amazing. I don’t even know where to start...they are known for the scone wars, which are so creative, but frankly, the entire meal is fantastic, from the coffee and fruit to the main entree. The setting on the porch makes you want to linger for hours. And you can’t beat the entertainment, truly. These guys are giving their all, and it shows! The scones are to die for, I was able to order a dozen to take with me when I checked out that I brought home to share with family and friends- Two kinds-blueberry banana white chocolate And cranberry Pecan, yum! The flavors actually change daily! The location is great being in the center of town, walking distance to the cute general store, church, ice cream and even the beach! Centerville is a very picturesque village close to Hyannis and all the Cape has to offer. You really can’t go wrong here, it’s a very special place to stay on the Cape!

Staying at CDK was absolute perfection! Tom and Rick go above and beyond to make your stay extra special at every turn. They are welcoming and have created a beautiful oasis for their guests! We stayed in the Rachel Room and loved every minute! Down to the linens, every detail was well thought out and planned. Breakfast every day was impeccable: fruit, scone, and an egg dish of sorts served atop beautiful china. The shows Rick and Tom put in daily are highly entertaining! The only regret I have is not taking a nap in the hammock below with my book - oh well, next time! I’ll definitely be back! Thanks, Rick and Tom! We love CDK - you’ve done an outstanding job with it!

The Captain David House is a wonderfully appointed home the places your comfort level at number 1. Rick and Tom are friendly, knowledgeable and vastly entertaining! Their scones are unbelievable. The morning “entertainment “ over the top and an event in its own right. This is a must stay on Cape Cod. Convenient to everything.

Arrived to a warm welcome from our hosts Tom and Rick, who showed us to our room and explained all the COVID precautions (deep clean after every guest, bedding stripped down to mattress cover etc.). The room is cozy and very clean! Breakfast is not to be missed. Multiple presconetations most days, including performances from Frank Sconeatra, Britney Scones, Willie Nelscone and Elvis Prescone just to mention a few. And if you’re VERY lucky you might meet Tom’s Aunt Peg. Overall a delightful visit with two hosts who really go out of their way to make sure their guests are happy..and entertained! I give them a 10 out of 10! Will definitely visit again!
