My husband and I just came back from a wonderful Cape Cod weekend....we stayed at the Fernbrook Inn which I have admired from a distance for many years. Well, the outside does not even begin to tell the story of this absolutely beautiful home. Each room has it's own character and is so impeccably decorated (but not in such a...

This darling Bed & Breakfast was recommended to us by a friend as lodging while on the Cape for a wedding. The property is historically significant which isn't surprising when you see the charming architecture. The owner gave us a tour of the house, told us stories of the famous people who had lived and visited the home and cooked...

This was perfect with the charm of a B&B and the luxury of a huge lighted bathroom with all amenities along with a big bedroom with a great comfortable bed and lots of closet space...TV and a wonderful private long lap pool to cool off. We were there for a wedding and Mary Ann accommodated my need for an ironing...

My husband and I had the pleasure of spending three days in the delightful and beautiful Fernbrook home, The house, and grounds are just perfect. We stayed in the Cardinal's Room. The pictures on line do not do it justice. There have been some changes and the room is spectacular. We sipped wine on the veranda in the evenings and...

We recently had the pleasure of staying in the "Green" room at the Fernbrook Inn. Upon arriving, we were immediately charmed. The home was meticulous and our hostess was completely accommodating. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated. Although a bit wary of escaping the humidity that had plagued the area, our room quickly cooled down via the modern a/c...

Fernbrook is one of the best examples of Queen Anne architecture on the Cape. It is a splendid building with room after room filled with interesting furniture and memorabilia. The rooms are very comfortable and each one has its own personality and view. The home was built by Herbert Kalmus who invented Technicolor and was later owned by Cardinal Francis...

I had the pleasure of staying at The Fernbrook for four nights recently, and it was delightful. The Inn is conveniently located, and the facility is lovely. Mary Anne, the owner, provided the most scrumptious breakfast each and every morning! I warmly recommend The Fernbrook, and definitely plan to return. You won't be disappointed, especially if you love beautifully maintained...

I enjoyed two nights at the Fernbrook Inn in the extremely comfortable, spacious and well furnished Green Room. The Inn itself is carefully maintained, with well-chosen period furnishings throughout, a handsome library, a large sunny dining/kitchen area, and extensive landscaped grounds. The innkeeper is charming and personable, and serves a fine breakfast, made to order. I would definitely recommend the...

Last weekend I stayed at the Fernbrook Inn at the recommendation of my best friend who knows I love charming and well appointed hotels and inns. I was elated when I saw the Inn with its beautifully landscaped property and was welcomed by the lovely, warm owner, Mary Anne English. I decided to stay in the Cardinal Spellman Room, the...

The Fernwood Inn is indeed a jewel. It has a timeless elegance with loving attention to detail. The Inn has a wonderful lap pool which is reminiscent of those in Italian Villas. A full breakfast is thoughtfully made to order. My wife and I always enjoy our stay especially in the rooms overlooking the garden. In the off season the...
