#1 - the staff was friendly #2 - it looks like the hotel is working on remodeling, but I couldn't be sure. Some parts of the hotel looked like it was just robbed while others were just redone #3 - there were a lot of small, mystery spots/stains on the walls, light shades and carpeting - I couldn't tell what they were and really don't want to know

Hello 'Weekendgetaway628', We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback with us. Thank you for the kind words about our team, I'm so glad to hear that they were a positive part of your stay with us. To your point about our building, we are always looking for ways we can improve and currently we are in the midst of some of these projects as we enter our slower season. For #3 I will share your review with our Housekeeping & Engineering team so we can address these types of issues as well. Thank you again for sharing & staying with us. Sincerely, Matt A. General Manager
I was very impressed. I booked this place based on location convenience. I was nicely surprised. Plenty of parking. Decent rooms.
Breakfast was amazing. Bacon, sausage, biscuits, Cinnabon, pancakes, yogurt, nuts, plus all the regular stuff. The staff easily kept the pans full even when large groups came through.
Only a few minor issues: The bed was lop-sided, heavily worn on one side - it felt like the springs were crushed. The front desk staff were competent just not very friendly. The bathroom was clean but showed many signs of very poor maintenance and repairs. The tub drain was very noisy and the noisy vent fan ran all the time. AND the television did not have the Red Sox on any channel during the playoffs!
The family and I stayed one night at this hotel. Upon arriving Matt, the General Manager, stated that we had received a room upgrade due to the hotel selling out on the room that we originally booked. He was very friendly and professional and wanted to make sure that our stay was a pleasant one.
The room was a King Suite. The room, which was a corner unit, was very clean and spacious.
House keeping made sure that we had all the bedding supplies that we needed for the night.
In the morning the breakfast was hot and plentiful and delicious.
We will definitely return to this hotel when we are in the area again!
We stayed here for two nights having flown in to Boston late one night and then gone to the patriots game the following day - it was as you’d expect for the chain.
Location was just off a main road, not a huge amount around to see but reasonable enough. Breakfast was a decent spread, not particularly big on the cooked front but quite a lot of other options so you could have a good meal. The bed was large and comfortable.
We had a very nice stay at Holiday Inn Express in Brockton. The hotel was located by a highway, but it was a very quiet place😀
We are a family of 5 who got two rooms with connecting doors. The rooms were clean and spacious with very good beds. We also tested the gym and pool. The breakfast was a standard breakfast for Holiday Inn Express but in a nice breakfast room with a fire place and news on the big flatscreen!
Unfortunately, I did not get the receptionists name, but he did a great job. Gave us valuable information and excellent service.
We would recommend this as a very good highway hotel.
The Holiday Inn Express Hotel Boston-Brockton has just completed a $1.5 million renovation. The renovation included a complete overhaul of the guestrooms, public areas, exterior facade and landscaping. Additionally, …Morenew management has been assigned to improve overall guest satisfaction. Situated at the entrance of the Westgate Mall, the hotel is immediately adjacent to Route 24 and Route 27. Thehotel's proximity to major routes and its location in a vigorously recovering market make it a prime destination for visitors." Less

This hotel is close to Ikea (and there is a Christmas tree shop in the same street) but you would need a car. Also, the aquarium is about 30 - 40 mins away. There is a commuter rail subway that will take you into South Station, but you would have to find the connecting subways to get to the aquarium on a subway map. South station is a busy station and you can connect to most paths from here. However, you would need a car to reach the station in Brockton in the first place...or call a taxi. Just an FYI- this city that this hotel is located in is not a place where you want to get lost at night. It has crime and certain parts are not safe.
