Captain Freeman Inn is our favorite inn and we were a bit worried when it changed hands. No worry at all! Jason and Laurie, the new innkeepers, are so hospitable and our stay at the inn was even better than before. Our room- Wellfleet- was immaculate, bright and airy. Their breakfasts are amazing and so are the afternoon sweets. Jason and Laurie are around if you need them but not intrusive. The small changes they have made make the inn even better. We can't wait to return.

Property's Favorite Review
Laurie and Jason, the new owners of this high quality inn, were the most gracious hosts that went out of their way to welcome us. The home is beautiful and well appointed. The high quality linens and towels added to our comfort. They knew I was gluten- and dairy-free in advance so they welcomed us with a special box of macaroons and hand-made soap on our bed and also had well-marked gluten and dairy free snacks in their reception room. The many extras included shave soap, shower cap, bottled water in glass, lip balm, room spray, and comfy bathrobes along with lovely soaps for the sink and shower. Their breakfast was generous and mouth watering with a lovely assortment of berries, homemade granola and eggs Benedict. They went out of their way to adjust the menu for my diet personally and offered me almond milk for my granola and tea and gluten-free English muffins as well. On top of all this attention to detail they also welcomed us to use their Tesla charger for our vehicle! We highly recommend this amazing inn to travelers that want to be spoiled and pampered by gracious hosts in a lovely historic home in a beautiful part of Cape Cod!

We just returned from a 5 night stay at the Captain Freeman Inn. Our original booking was for 3 nights, but we just couldn't tear ourselves away from the inn and the marvelous couple who recently purchased the inn. They love being innkeepers and it shows! Laurie and Jason Stuehmer have years of experience in the hospitality industry and you can see it in the many improvements they have already made to the inn. But it doesn't stop there. Laurie and Jason have big plans for the future and we can't wait to return to see what they have done. The Stuehmers are the ultimate innkeepers. They are delightful - so hospitable, so accommodating, so gracious and they just can't do enough for you in their desire to please. Our accommodations were extremely comfortable, our bathroom was of 5 star quality, and our bed was so luxurious that it was very hard to leave it but we knew that a delicious 3 course breakfast was waiting and it's a breakfast you don't want to miss. A beautiful beach is a pleasant short walk away where you will find breathtaking views and incredible sunsets. The inn is centrally located in the bucolic town of Brewster. The best restaurants and sites are within walking distance. Trust me, you won't go wrong staying at the Captain Freeman Inn. Book it. You won't be disappointed.

To stay in a B& B was on my bucket list and this B&B exceeded my expectations. I'm told not all B&B's are the same so I guess this one spoiled me. Between the great food, accommodations, 600 thread sheets and pillow cases, comfortable bed, plethora of pillows, organic personal care products, Turkish cotton towels and bathrobes, beverage station on the second floor, delightful tea time with home made goodies you can't go wrong. The night before you knew what you would be having for breakfast and it was delicious. And Laurie & Jason the new owners were so warm and friendly and accommodating in every way. This place is a keeper and I know I will be back. Cozy M.
