From the minute we walked in, we felt like we were "home." Laurie and Jason have created the most amazing experience from start to finish for guests (who feel more like friends). When you pull up, you are taken by the beautiful appearance of the exterior and the intrigue of the amazing outside pool area. When you walk through the doors, however, you are even more impressed. The decor is top notch, the atmosphere is so peaceful and yet pampering and the company is uncomparable. We instantly felt that we were with lifelong friends - and we hope that is what will happen :) The food is impeccable - we still can't stop talking about the ricotta pancakes! - and the afternoon snacks and tea are to die for! The weather was not cooperative when we were last there so we didn't get to experience the pool oasis but that is on our next trip's agenda! When our visit was over, we honestly didn't want to leave. We have found our forever spot on the Cape - we couldn't imagine staying anywhere else!

Property's Favorite Review
My husband and I were delighted with our recent stay at the inn. Laurie and Jason are the perfect hosts, warm and engaging people who are committed to your comfortable stay. The rooms are impeccably decorated, comfortable and clean. We stayed in the Eastham room with a king bed and private screened porch and we highly recommend it although all of the rooms are beautiful. The breakfasts they prepare are beyond scrumptious, and the detail they put into the morning menu is worth noting. The exterior amenities are beautiful, and include a large screened porch, a heated pool and an inviting fire pit! We have traveled all over the country, New England extensively, and we have not stayed at a finer establishment. Five stars plus. You will not regret booking a stay at the Captain Freeman Inn.

We had an amazing mother daughter weekend at the Captain Freeman Inn. Not only is the Inn beautiful it is perfectly located for day trips to all other areas of the Cape. The Captain Freeman Inn has something for everyone - a short walk to the beach with gorgeous sunsets, an amazing three course breakfast, a year round heated pool and two of the kindest and most accommodating hosts in Laurie and Jason. We will be back!

We spent six nights at the Captain Freeman Inn. From the minute I made the reservation I knew it would be a great experience. We arrived to a warm welcome and a lovely note in our room. There were also delicious French Macaroons in our room upon arrival. The food!!!! Breakfast was not only delicious, it was beautifully presented. Every tiny detail was taken care of - not a single thing left to chance. One day we took a day trip and were sent off with delicious breakfast sandwiches on fresh croissants! Every afternoon, at tea time, pink bento boxes were set out for guests along with lemonade and iced tea. The bento boxes were filled with a lovely collection of snacks, from fresh pretzel bites with mustard and ricotta cookies to lemon scones. The perfect pairing with a cocktail by the pool or on our screened in porch. Our hosts, Laurie and Jason, made sure everything was perfect. Our room was lovely and perfectly clean! Laurie and Jason were available when we had questions about the area and helped us make reservations for two fabulous dinners. They have the best beach chairs, and know where the best beaches are. When we went on our whale watching trip they sent us off with a bag of goodies including sunscreen!!! Didn't I tell you they think of everything? I can't recommend this lovely inn enough. If you want to stay in a beautiful, clean, comfortable, friendly inn - Captain Freeman Inn is the place!!! The best food I had on the Cape. Thank you Laurie and Jason we loved meeting you, we will be back!

We were pampered from our arrival to departure. Our quiet, comfortable room was perfect for our celebration weekend. We were surprised to find a birthday cake waiting for my husband and yummy truffles for our anniversary… so thoughtful. Laurie and Jason create delicious three course breakfasts that can be enjoyed in a screened in porch along side the pool. The Inn is filled with gorgeous plants, inside and out. You can easily relax at the Inn, take a short stroll down to the beach on the bay, or head out to the many sights and restaurants on the Cape. Laurie and Jason can direct you to all kinds of places and will also help to find that perfect dining experience. I know we will be back.

First of all, Judy, we miss you and Art! Breakfast wasn't the same this morning, or the afternoon without hearing about your bike riding adventures or tonight, hearing about your evening plans! The inn is more fun when you both are in it! Truly, we love having you here. We just love talking and laughing with you and getting to know you more with each visit! Please take good care and have a wonderful summer...we can't wait to see you again! Laurie, Jason & the CFI Team
