What started out as an awful horrendous Thanksgiving was completely turned around by a young lady named Denise we were told we had reservations for the package at 5:30 there was no such thing as a 530 package Denise managed to actually get us a turkey dinner not the full extravaganza but a turkey dinner at least served to us in the Roscommon room she stayed very attentive to us she was greatShe always made sure Our food was good and hot and if anything at all needed to be taken care of she didn’t hesitate to make the adjustments in the back we were so full we weren’t able to even finish the delectable dessert that she showed us on the pastry tray one kindness that I have yet to see in many restaurants is that she actually boxed up that is actually paid for and send them in a paper bag with a little nice box of chocolates on top of that. I started giving this reservation at three but I am changing it to five your team recovered so well until quickly and Denise never let her eye off the ball once in any of the restaurants we saw her just walking in touring the whole restaurant in public areas to ensure nobody wanted for anything. I know you probably hear this all the time but you are so very lucky to have her she just completely turned around in our night after such a long drive for a leisure Lee Thanksgiving dinner so thank you Mr. Newman and Mr. Webb for hiring her and most of all thank you Denise for taking care of us…
Rooms are very clean and beautiful. The service was outstanding. Denise Haddad was exceptional!! The six of us were blown by the peacefulness and serenity and hospitality of Ocean Edge. We will be going back next year!!!
Denise Haddad, the general manager, is extraordinary. She makes everything run smoothly and is incredibly attentive to guests. Her staff is amazing too. We had fabulous waiters, waitresses, maitre D’s , and host/hostess. They are thoughtful, flexible, and fun. The tennis courts are great and the villas are lovely! We’ll be back next year if not sooner!
Just had a fabulous weekend with tennis friends at Ocean Edge Resort in Brewster, MA I cannot say enough about the general manager, Denise Haddad. She went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back next year.
We just returned from a 3 day onsite at the Ocean Edge Resort, we had 19 in our group and it was wonderful. Alina and Areeya were great to work with, and very responsive to my requests. We had dinner at the resort, a golf outing and lunch at Linx and a cocktail hour with stunning views of the sunset from their private beach deck. The rooms were clean, spacious with comfortable beds and very nice linen. Everyone raved about the service, the food and the beautiful front lawn area. Excellent resort. Two of our guests didn’t golf and went to the spa instead and were sad to leave, they could have stayed all day.
Had a wonderful time was there for a wedding, beautiful property, management was fabulous along with the bartending staff! You can tell how much someone loves their job and is committed to making her guests happy!
On First we arrival, no parking was available except using their valet service due to multiple weddings on the premises. Front desk was of little help except to ask me to walk over to the East wing to check for parking, nothing available until the next day. I had to finally park on the road adjacent to the east wing. Frant desk was of little help offering any valet to carry our luggage, made several trips myself. Room was nicely furnished, but unfortunately little daily light enters rooms located on the first floor. Small terrace with two very uncomfortable chairs. The Linx restaurant was by far the best and pool located at the village which was another 10 minute drive, more then adequate. However the pool located at the mansion was closed the first day due to a wedding . If You want to utilize activities like tennis ( nice courts ) 6 in all, like anything else it’s a separate fee for guests. Bottom line for what this resort charges, your paying a high price for just a room. Oh the shower is located in a deep tub, you Better be fit, climbing in and out. Oh the beach was a grumpy narrow strp of sand. Water was at low tide most of our stay. You can walk a mile and the water measures below you knees. Yikes I suggest their Villages property.…
This was our first time at the Ocean Edge. The property was truly beautiful with the grounds meticulously maintained with breathtaking views from the Terrace. Beach was clean with stunning sunsets and miles of walking during low tide. Special shout-out to Denise - thank you for the upgrade- we didn’t leave the resort and Nadia, our waitress from the beach side. Thank You for your hospitality!!! We can’t wait to return.
We stayed for four nights in a Grand Corner Suite and had a great experience. Large living/dining room area, two private decks, ocean view, two full baths and a decently-stocked kitchenette. The suite had the feeling of a small private home rather than a hotel room. If you wanted, you could have two children sleep in the living room with no problem at all. We loved the beach. When you arrive, the staff will bring you chairs and set up an umbrella or two. Wait staff come and serve you drinks and food. Very nice and not found generally on Cape Cod. Of course, since it's Cape Cod Bay, best to check the tide charts online to see whether you'll be able to swim and plan accordingly. The front lawn experience was quite magical. Lots of heat lamps fired-up to protect against cool Cape evenings. The pizza was excellent. You should be aware that, if staying in the East Wing, there are a significant number of steps to get from the parking lot and beach/tennis/pool amenities to the building. It's possible to use an elevator, but it's a convoluted route bringing you through the outdoor restaurant/bar area. Also, you may want to request a grand corner suite on the second floor. The first floor suites will not have an ocean view.…
We stayed here this year for the second time. While their rates have gone up since Covid, so has their service. The employees are very friendly and eager to please. I must say though that their Front lawn is open to the world and brings in somewhat of a tough crowd. I suggest limiting that area to your hotel guests only. It does not belong in a venue that charges your high rates. That aside, the Beach is a treasure and the rooms are magnificent.Try their Pub (Bezos). Small but great food and service. Also try their Beach walks. Concierge was also helpful. We will be back two years.
