The lake here looks like it would be great for kayaking. This was the first time we entered the park. There are many trails for hiking and biking. After Labor Day there is no charge to drive into the park.

The sites are large and the bathing and restrooms clean and private. There are multiple fresh water ponds for swimming as well as being stocked with trout for great fishing. The staff is available should you need them, but they respect your privacy unlike some...More

You've got to really study the campground maps and try to pick a site that isn't close to others. If it overlooks one of the lakes, so much the better.
