Me and my husband spent four nights in this nice location. We enjoyed the lovely room with kingside bed and little deck. If you stay in at the Spinnacker you will be spoilt with amazing breakfasts. We also had dinner twice and loved the food, the great service and the Italian touch. Make sure you make a reservation...they are super booked...no surprise. I truly hope we will be back. Many thanks again for making our stay so special. Susanne and Christoph
I only stayed here for one night but it was a fantastic experience. Spinnaker is a wonderful house dating back to 1861. Expertly run by Andrea (who does front of house) and her husband (chef), this place has a lovely natural warmth and welcome. We ate in the restaurant on a busy Saturday evening - food, service and atmosphere all fantastic......I would describe it as my type of neighborhood restaurant - high quality fresh ingredients delivered with sensitivity and flair..............breakfast was also excellent. If I am in the area again, I will definitely come back.
This bed and breakfast is simply amazing. The owners are on site - he is chef, she runs the business - and they make every detail perfect. We were there for our anniversary and we found anniversary flowers in our room when we got there. The rooms are stunning. There are only four rooms so you have a peaceful stay with lots of privacy. There is a small, fun bar with lots of locals. The restaurant is wonderful and has won a number of culinary awards. Our apps of salad and dates stuffed with gorgonzola and wrapped in bacon were delicious. We both had the bolognese for dinner and it was perfect. The atmosphere is intimate and cozy. Everyone around us was having a great time. The stay includes breakfast. We expected something simple but it was everything but simple. We had homemade yogurt with berry compote, walnuts and honey, fresh fruit, spectacular bacon, home fries and arugula salad, an egg dish with lentils, roasted veggies and feta, and for a bit of sweetness carrot cake. It was beyond gourmet, all served outside under the morning sun. We will definitely be back again soon.…
We have dinner at Spinnaker annually on our way to PTown, and as always it was fantastic. The bolognese is a must have. The wine selection is fantastic, with unique options from Italy that are hard to find. My crispy salmon dinner was tender on the inside and very flavorful. The antipasto board was a real treat, with unusual cheeses and meats. Ask to sit outside on a nice evening for a special treat. Tables come with soft blankets for cooler evenings. Inside, the decor is modern and calming. The wait staff is friendly and knows the menu well. Andrea and Rob are forever gracious and make you feel right at home. Make this part of your regular Cape experience.
Spinnaker is simultaneously upscale and comfortable, like a grand old home. The menu is innovative, the meals expertly prepared and the service impeccable. From the minute you walk in until the meal is finished, you are made to feel special. I can't speak for the accommodations but knowing what the restaurant is like, I suspect they are just as awesome.
