My husband and I take our entire family (12 members) every year to this camp/resort. We rent the retreat cabin that accommodates all of us perfectly. It is a beautiful cabin with all the bells and whistles. This was our 5th year at Jellystone. We have 3 spots rented for this year 8/24 because we have invited friends to go with us this year. Our grandkids start asking when our camping vacation is months before our time to go. There are so many activities for our kids to do all week long that they never have been bored or ready to go home. The pool and lazy river are beautiful and very clean. The entire resort is very well maintained. We have always been treated very kindly by staff and they have always fulfilled any requests that we have had very promptly. Each year we ask our 2 adult children if they want to try someplace new this year and the answer is a definite “No”. Thank you Jellystone for helping us make such wonderful memories for our family that will never be forgotten!

We visited Jellystone Williamsport for a weekend in a Cozy Cabin. We rented a cabin adjacent to friends and had to pay an upcharge to guarantee location, which seems petty, but we decided to go for it to be near each other. The cabin was super cute, though very tiny and not very clean. Our coffee pot had old, moldy coffee in it and the bathroom was grimy. For two nights, it was comfortable enough since we didn't spend a lot of time in the room. We really likes the spacing of the cabins. We didn't feel cramped, there was nice shade, and enough space for camp chairs around the fire. The campground had a nice large pool and waterpark area that the kids loved. They also enjoyed the Gaga pits and mini golf. We really liked having so many amenities on site. Park rules were enforced - the park was clean, quiet hours were adhered to, and people were respectful of others. We would return.

We had a blast there as a family, aside from the fact that cabin did not live up to our expectations.

Pros
😍 We loved the daily program with all kinds of kid activities happening every hour. We thoroughly enjoyed the glow stick dance party followed by a movie under the stars
😍 Water activities are plentiful. The main one was really busy all day long, but the kiddie pool was surprisingly always empty
😍 Rent a golf cart - 150% recommend that thing! Easy to get in and out of, doesn’t go faster than 5 miles per hour so the kids don’t need to be buckled. It was our 2 year old’s favorite activity about the vacation- to ride around the campsite and people watch.
😍 Food and treats are reasonably priced. We had 3 cups of ice cream and it totaled to $11 - huge scoops with toppings. Can’t beat that!
😍 They have a store on site for groceries and other items like grill utensils, swimwear, flip flops
🤩 This place is seriously targeted to make your kids really happy. Go for it! It’s a perfect birthday gift for a child.

Cons
🥲 Our cabin was filthy! There was nothing luxury about our ‘Luxury Cabin’. In fact, it lacked the most basic things like soap and towels. The dish rack was gross so I didn’t even bother to use it. We let our 9 month old baby to crawl on the floor, and when we picked her up her little feet were grey. I mean, that floor had not been mopped in years. The futon cover and beds in generals had stains all over so much so that I covered everything with our picnic blankets so my little ones don’t touch that grossness
🥲 When they mean ‘no linens’ that means no pillows, blankets, towels, nothing at all. Those are bare beds. I wish I had picked that up from the reviews. We had to go shopping at Walmart for pillows and blankets (did bring our sheets) and then wash them (laundry available on site and the machines accept credit cards)
🥲 If you have littles, keep in mind that music at certain campsites maybe blasting until 11 pm. Good luck sleeping! Certainly bring plenty noise machines
🥲 There we’re issues with electricity going out during the day and at night. May have been related to rain.

Thank you for the feedback. We are happy to hear that you had a great time! In regards to your cabin, guests must bring their own personal items, like soap and towels. Unless you rent our linens (which comes with towels, sheets, pillows), this is not included when you arrive at your cabin. We will definitely look into how we can better enforce our quiet hours at 11pm. Thank you for bringing this to our attention! We hope to welcome you back next season.

Honestly this is not worth the money! Pool is nice but over crowded. The lazy river was packed with no tubes, we get that, finally got tubes and there are kids in the river with no tubes. Got kicked and pushed around by these kids. Got out and asked the life guard if you were allowed in without tubes, knowing you weren’t, she said oh we tell them and they don’t listen. Heard not one whistle at anyone. Kids not being watched by parents nothing! Bathrooms are absolutely disgusting! You download the app and get these alerts about not riding bikes after dark etc, yet no one enforces them! Check in staff were unfriendly and down right awful! We got an escort to our site which was great, the camper across from us has there dogs not leashes and going to the bathroom on other sites not cleaning it up, said something to the employee he went over and said something but again why is it allowed! The campers here disrespectful, not the campground fault but people walking thru our sites with us right there! We have dogs which mine your are leashes appropriately and get protective of us and the site and you have people walking through! Forget employee presence. Ninja course we ok, small kids enjoyed it but at an extra cost. There were ponies rides witch were nice and some other things but again not worth the money. We stayed here a few years ago and there is a reason we didn’t come back from years. Mandatory bathroom breaks for 15 minutes every two hours at the pool but over 30 minutes for kids to get back in. If you plan on coming early for a holiday weekend, like checking in the Thursday before don’t expect the pool with the slides to be open during the day, didn’t open until 4! It’s a holiday weekend and I’m paying how much! Quiet hours are a joke, kids screaming all night. Bottom line I could keep going on, so many other campgrounds with so much more and less expensive. I see this place has an overall 4 star but I would not come back here again! Been camping for 10 years and gave it another chance, should have stuck with our guts and not returned.

I’ve been coming here for several years. It’s just not the same since Northgate Resorts took it over. The sites are probably in the worst shape that I’ve ever seen them. They are minimally maintained to the point that it’s getting difficult to determine where the grass starts and the RV pad starts. The dog waste bin hasn’t been emptied once since we’ve been here for the last several days. It’s over full. The PutPut has had nothing repaired or updated for decades and is falling apart. The Astro turf is worn out, obstacles are broken, the ball holes are full of dirty gross water. Then, with the lazy river, there is not enough tubes. The lazy river tubes can be used on the water slides, but the water slide tubes cannot be used in the lazy river. A life guard hands my friend a solid colored tube, that has been in the lazy river for a long while. They go around 2 times, and the same life guard then tells my friend that they cannot have that tube in the lazy river. Mind you, this is the same tube that this same life guard handed to him. Tells my friend to get out of the lazy river, he questions why he has to get out when she gave it to him. She then calls ranger rick over and ranger rick makes him exit the river and states that he has to leave because the life guard states that he was cussing out the life guard. At NO point we’re any swear words used. Not once, not ever. Ranger Rick then goes back to the life guard and she admits that he did not swear and she had over reacted. I get it, people have bad days, but for her to blatantly lie? Northgate is bleeding this place dry. Each year they up the rates, and the park is slowly falling apart. At $180 a night, you can find much better campgrounds elsewhere or better run Yogi campgrounds. After everything I’ve seen here this trip and over the years, I will not be back. I would also recommend you consider somewhere else as well.

Despite a variety of weather including rain, cold and lots of strong winds the camping trip was great. The grandchildren enjoyed the weekend activities. The staff were very helpful and accommodating and made sure that campsites were cleaned as soon as other campers left. Staff is also to be commended for quickly handling an unfortunate situation with a group of campers that occupied several nearby cabins.

We booked a cabin at Jellystone in December. Price for 3 nights--$606. Our friends who were originally going to tent camp, decided to move to a cabin because of the cold weather. This was the end of April. They were upgraded to a two room, 3 bed cabin with a small kitchen and screened porch for about half of what we prepaid. No, we didn't talk to the office about this because we could tell that this was a very corporate run property. All rules, no flexibility.

We think they should also have bare necessities. Soap, a plate, bowl, utensils, paper towels. But you have to bring everything.

We felt ripped off for the high prices despite most of the amenities being closed, either for COVID or the time of year. I would not stay here again.

Hi Judy - we are sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with your stay. All cabins are priced differently. We also have dynamic pricing similar to the airline and hotel industry, where rates tend to change. Our cabins come with the basic necessities, like toilet paper and pots & pans. We don't provide everything because many of our campers like to maintain that "camping feel" while glamping. Many of our attractions are open, the only ones that are not are our water attractions due to the cold. We apologize for any confusion! In the future, we always recommend speaking to a manager during your stay so we can solve the problem right away. Despite this, we hope to welcome you back in the future so we can show you all that we have to offer!

Has lots of potential but could use some TLC. Bathrooms, pavilions, golf course are run down. Seems to be many staff members riding around on golf carts but not actually doing anything. The pools are over crowded ( despite many available sites) and kids will not give up a tube for the water slides to people waiting in line. They just keep bypassing the people in line and using the slide over and over. I will say that the lifeguards are very attentive and enforce the no running/horseplay rules. Also, the week we stayed the water slides were only open 3-7, this was not advertised. My kids only got a couple runs on the slide over 4 days. Everyday is filled with planned activities but most of them cost extra $ despite the high nightly rate. This is our first Jellystone stay and for the price I am not impressed.

Overall our trip was good. It was our first trip and her shakedown camp for our new to us 2014 bounder it rained almost the whole time and we had a water leak that flooded our back bath but neither was the parks fault. I also installed our surge protector upside down so I was not getting power. The park sent a gentleman out who worked with me and we figured I installed it incorrectly. He even checked on us later after I made the necessary repair. Great guy to have. Park was clean and loved when you put the garbage out it disappeared like a picnic basket around To go. We defiantly plan to come again.

While I love this campground because it is not far from me and is a very clean campground their prices have gone crazy. Along with the price increase they charge a lock in fee. When I call and ask if a site is available and am told yes and I book it I shouldn't have to pay a fee to lock it. It was available and I booked it. It is no longer available. And on top of all that there are extra curricular activities that are charged for. We do not partake in any amenities and feel we shouldn't pay the same price as those that do and have suggested to management to have separate prices for those wishing to use the amenities. This could be regulated with different colored wristbands. Very simple. The campground is causing families with multiple children to turn away from this wholesome vacation.

Thanks for the review and feedback, B4519ZMkarenm. While we understand your frustrations, we do feel that offering a chance to lock in your site for a small fee is a perk to our campers. Consider when you book a hotel room - you know you're booking a Deluxe King but you don't know if your room will be near the elevator or ice machine. With our lock-in option, guests can guarantee the site they want. As far as the activities, mostly all of our activities are included in your stay. Since we are a family camp-resort, we really do not have too many guests visiting that don't take advantage of the activities and amenities. We will keep your suggestion in mind though!
