We had some car troubles and wound up staying for a week! We enjoyed the park the whole time.
Every day we found something new to love.

We thought we'd fallen into some kind of alternate reality. Everyone was smiling and super friendly. The office staff were amazing, the ranger

Nice, quiet, clean and lots to see. The park was spacious and even my dog was happy there. The weather was windy and chilly when we were there but we still enjoyed the time we got to spend riding the park in our rental golf cart. We will definitely recommend to others.

Thank you for the great review, B9393VNlauram! We're glad that you were able to enjoy yourselves despite the chilly fall weather. We hope you'll join us again next year—perhaps when it's a bit warmer out!

Cabin was adequate but dirty, had ants in cabinets, and was near a smelly pond. Just not nice enough for the price. But everyone that helped us was friendly and knowledgeable. The playgrounds and other attractions are very well maintained and supervised.

My son turned 13 and for his birthday he wanted to camp at Jellystone! He loves it there! The staff are friendly and helpful. Lots to do for kids and families. We had family come sat afternoon for a party and staff was extremely helpful in their arrival! Great weekend!

Unlike at state parks, drinking is allowed and everyone there is there for the same reason: to have a good time. The families are friendly and the staff was too. There is never a shortage of activities even when the pool has closed.

Not in this location that I'm aware of. I believe that's in Lurgy.

What time do the pools and attractions open/close?
The pool is open from 11-7 I believe - but may be 8. Zip line has limited hours 12-4 on some of the days. Laser Tag runs every hour or so

Is there a shuttle or metro line nearby to get to DC?
Hi, sorry no metros and believe there isn't any buses that run there. Actually the park is 1 hr and 20 mins away if you go straight down 70 to 270. I understand I don't like driving in Washington but I haven't heard of any buses going that way.

I have kids 14, 11 and 7. They like camping but I prefer not to have to set up camp. Will all ages be somewhat entertained? Is it relatively clean and updated? Are there tons of kids usually and some cool day trips nearby? Thank you! We would be renting a cabin Labor Day weekend.
I believe they will have a dance for the teenagers on Saturday night and also in the activities fliers they always some lind of teenager activity or idea for them to keep them busy. I know someone who camps there frequently who has a 14 yo and 2 year old. They camp there often because there are many activities for both of her children. The bathhouse mid campground is very nice but the bathouse in the front where the office needs updating as it is old
