We stayed at Fort Whaley in July 2019 and unfortunately the pool was out of service during a really hot spell. I doubt it was their fault, but I don't know the cause and if it could have been avoided by maintenance. They did offer for us to use a nearby campgrounds pool, but as hot as it was I was thinking it would be really crowded and decided against it. Our RV spot was large and had a concrete pad for the RV to sit on, but there wasn't enough shade. Planting some trees would be helpful. Our friends arrived later and couldn't get electric, they thought it was their RV and began troubleshooting... One of the other campers mentioned that they too had an electrical issue and the maintenance staff came out to fix it. Did I mention it was really HOT, my friends were inconvenienced awaiting for electric to get their AC running, but maintenance came fairly quickly and had to replace something. They did have golf cart rentals, but it was a fairly small campground, so we didn't think renting one for a quick ride around would be good value. The clubhouse was nicely air conditioned, but needed a good vacuuming. The store was very well equipped and even had ice cream. While it is in a good location to reach Berlin, Ocean City and other attractions, the traffic took us over an hour to get to the OC boardwalk on Saturday.

Had a wonderful week at Fort Whaley with our two grandsons. The cabin was very clean and well equipped. The young adults who led the activities were fabulous with the children, very friendly and polite. The pool was always clean. Loved the bus service to Frontier Town and the water park, also to Ocean City. Noticed some upgrades since last year to the property and the landscaping. Will come again. Thanks Fort Whaley folks.

My family and I decided to stay one night here camping, as we have never been camping before but wanted to try it. They do not take reservations for one night however you can walk on and stay. Trying to get a hold of anyone there is frustrating you are on hold forever and I had to keep trying to call. Finally when I did get through they were informative and helpful and answered any question I had. Since we had never been camping we had no idea what to expect and were nervous. Our campsite was wonderful, large and clean. We did not have a picnic table and my husband told the front desk, not to much longer and two maintenance men showed up and brought us one they were very friendly. The bathrooms were clean and close walk. The mini golf looked brand new and was fun to play. We took a trip to frontier land and took advantage of the discount for the theme park. My husband and son also enjoyed fishing at the catch and release pond. Check out was a breeze. We are already planning on going back for the weekend in Oct for the Halloween themes.

For the first time, we rented a cabin since there ere no camper sites available 4th of July week. The cabin was great! Nice and air conditioned, full fridge, cookware and utensils. All we had to bring were sheets for the beds and towels. The cabin was relatively clean, but next time I would bring a mop, as floor was swept, but not mopped in a long time. Also had TV with cable. Cabin overlooks pond that is good for catch and release. Friendly folks in the campground, nice store, but the pool was closed for servicing (holiday week?) although they could bus you over to Frontiertown. Also has a nice dog park for the fur babies. Will go back
