Great little Inn and nice location. We enjoyed the clean rooms and the chairs with a view outside of the rooms to congregate with family members staying in other rooms. Walked over to Marker Five for a great dinner outside. Staff was helpful and professional.

We stayed for two nights at Knapp’s Narrows Marina and Inn. This is a delightful place overlooking the bay. It sits in the marina so plenty of boat activity, although it was really quiet during our mid week visit. We loved the view from our room and As a lap swimmer, I was in heaven to have access to a pool long enough to swim laps (early, before families came to swim). We enjoyed a simple continental breakfast and were able to bring snacks since there is a mini fridge in room. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The restaurant was quite good and again beautiful views. The staff all wore face coverings as did patrons in close proximity to others. It was our first time leaving our home for four months. The low key pace of this spot was just right for a fist foray into the world. We will definitely go back.

Our usual place in St Michael's was way over priced & had been going downhill for a few years so I stayed at Knapp's Narrows Marina & Inn on Tilghman Island & I am very glad I did. It was clean & quiet, with a lovely outdoor pool, an above average FREE continental breakfast, FREE bikes to ride around the island on, kayaks to rent, etc.....& the most beautiful views of the Chesapeake Bay & it was a lot less money than staying in St. Michael's.....a HUGE win/win!!!! I can't wait to go back in the fall.

Travelled from central Virginia to Tilghman for a two night get away. Knapp’s Narrows was a relatively reasonable cost and met all of our needs. Water and marsh view room, able to launch our kayaks from the property, outdoor dining within walking distance.
We also drove to the outdoor restaurant at the Wylder Hotel, Tickler’s Crab Shack - what a great setting: large covered seating, music, fire pits, bocce and right on the water. Pleasant surprise.
We went to the Maritime museum which has most of its exhibits outdoors and was lightly visited that day.
All in all, a really great, relaxing visit to a lovely area and Inn.

My husband and I have stayed at this Inn many times. It has always been beautiful and immaculate every time inside and out . All the employees inside and outside treat you like family. This was though our first choice to get away after staying quarantined for months during these times. We chose this Inn as our first getaway because it had always been very immaculate and you can access your room from the outside, including a private balcony overlooking the Chesapeake Bay.
We felt very safe. If you need to get away and be safe during these times, spend time at this Inn.

Love this place. Knapp's Narrows Marina and Inn is the perfect getaway location and antidote for burned out lobbyists, overworked consultants and over worked people from all walks of life. As you round the corner into the property and hear the laughter from the restaurant, Mile Marker 5, another favorite, you can just feel the tension leave your body. The Eastern Shore is all about the low key enjoyment of life. Whether you come for the excellent food, quiet solitude of an early morning run or the serenity of a few precious hours stand up Paddleboarding, this is the ideal launch point for your Eastern Shore adventure. Set the A/C, or open the sliding door and just enjoy the sounds of the sea as you relax over a cup of coffee in your room before heading over to the office for a NY Style bagel with jam in the morning. Pick a few activities from the selection of tourism brochures, or not, it's your getaway, make it what you need. One of my favorite ways to spend an afternoon is over a bag of freshly steamed crabs sitting on the deck of my room eating with friends overlooking the bay or marina. I look forward to doing this every time I make it over the Bay Bridge. Usually go to Chesapeake Landing for take out, but if you prefer the General Store on Tilghman is an easy walk over the bridge.
Don't forget to stop by Mile Marker 5 for lunch or dinner too while you are here. Hours are limited so be sure to plan accordingly.
I travel with my dog and the entire staff went out of its way to make sure he had a good trip too.
Big thanks to Randy for making sure all three of us could relax and enjoy our time away together as a family. From the gently crinkle of the pebbled driveway to the quiet songs of the shore birds, this is my favorite destination on the Eastern Shore. Been coming to the area for 20 years and absolutely going to stay here again! My only regret is that we had not stayed here previously.

We stayed at Knapp's Narrows while in town for a wedding. With rooms going for crazy prices (600 and more per night) at the wedding venue, we decided to take a chance. And we are so happy we did. Our room was actually nicer than the $600 rooms our friends booked! It is a working Marina with some dry dock activity with people quietly working on their boats. You can sit outside under cover and watch boats come in and out of slips. And watch the drawbridge go up and down to the slight clanging of sail gear clanging on masts. Once inside the well appointed rooms all is quite and peaceful and comfortable.
The entire staff was not just polite, but friendly and happy to see us. We will absolutely be staying there again on our return visits.

We went to this hotel for an overnight stay to celebrate our friends birthday. There were 3 families, with children (trip advisor doesn't give that option for feedback). We all booked different types of room, we decided to go for the suite which was one of our best decisions made! The location of the Inn is tucked away at the back of the Marina, it is quiet with two views. One side is the marina and the other the boats. Parking was easy, the foyer was lovely and very modern, extremely clean. We were on the 3rd floor, exceptional views. Stairs/elevators. Our suite has a large area, TV, central table with 4 seats and you can add more if needed. A sofa bed, attached to a big bedroom with a double bed. Black out curtains in there. Small toilet area off the main suite and a bathroom for the bedroom. Again, what a clean place. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We felt at home. A very comfortable, quiet sleep with views that were amazing. The breakfast which was complementary was very good, bagels, fruit toast, small donut balls, fresh fruit freshly cut, yoghurt, cereal, teas and coffee. What a great spread 8am to 10am. If I be honest, I am yearning to go back. The sense of relaxation sought there, was amazing. Our friends felt the same. Knapp's is 15 minutes away from the small town of St Michael's. We decided to eat at the restaurant 5min walk from the hotel, Characters bridge restaurant. A good find, close by. Thank you team Knapp's, what a fab time we had.

After months of working as essential employees during Covid, it was finally time to enjoy some much needed R & R.
Choose this location due to the amenities offered. Checked in at the inn with ease. Our room was beautiful. And exactly what was advertised except even better. The view was beautiful, room spotless clean, and cozy. All staff we encountered was friendly. Went to the restaurant and let me tell ya we eat there several times during a 3 day stay. Everything was made from scratch, farm to table, or boat to table. Delicious isn't the word for it. Some happy hour outside with Kathy our bartender/server was great. Their smoked wings is a must try. Watermelon salad we highly recommend and yes their pizza. The manager was great and made everyone feel at home.
We will be back again and again.
Thank you for making this time so relaxing, and enjoyable.

This place is perfect if you’re looking for an affordable getaway. The room was meticulously clean with an updated beautiful bathroom and great amenities. We were on the third floor and had a view of the water. It was perfect for watching a sunset on our balcony. The pool was big and so clean. It was a nice refreshing afternoon dip. Not much to do on the island but site see some homes and watch beautiful sunsets. It’s just 15 minutes away from Saint Michaels and a lot more affordable. If you’re OK with a rustic marina vibe then this is the place for you. The staff is friendly the breakfast is good for a quick coffee and a pastry. The bowl of fresh berries was a nice addition. Beach towels are provided. If you want to experience Saint Michaels stay here and then you can afford to eat in Saint Michaels which is kind of pricey.
