Sunday lunch April 9, 2017 a disaster. First waiter walked out after delivering one of two appetizers and never gave a heads up he was walking out and that there was a problem in the kitchen. . Then one or two chiefs (cooks) walked out. 1 1/2 hour lunch with no end in sight.. No apology by "manager" ! Then...

I'd easily drive an hour out of my way to savor these golden, fried beauties. I grew up on the Chesapeake Bay and have dined on fried oysters for MANY decades: these are flat out the BEST that I've ever had. Service was a little slow as they were busy with their lunch crowd, so plan on spending a little...

Stayed at the Harrison's Chesapeake House Sunday night. The place is a bit dated but it adds to the charm and takes nothing away from it. The staff was friendly and helpful, no complaints at all. The room was small but it was very clean, well organized and just what I needed for a quick one night's stay before my...

Thank you for your comments. We are in the process of replacing/repairing all of the decks and railings at this time and the carpets do need to be stretched in some rooms. We hope you can try us again in season and enjoy the Crab Deck outside. Thanks again.. Steve Book General Manager

My wife and I stayed at the hotel for my daughter's wedding on Saturday, October 29, 2016. We checked in on Friday (preparation day) and also spent Saturday night after the wedding. We had a room in the separate building (closest to the closed swimming pool and volleyball court). The room was carpeted with a tiled floor in the bathroom....

This property was probably terrific years ago. It is pretty run down now. Although they are clearly attempting to spruce it up, it has a ways to go. The bathroom in our room was recently renovated, but the towel bars all kept coming off the walls. The carpet was really shabby and stained. And there was a coffee stirrer on...
