We enjoyed our visit to Sykesville. The Norwood Inn was quite nice, but more like a tiny hotel than a bed and breakfast. It was clean, quiet and comfortable with a lovely in room fireplace and jacuzzi tub. "Winter room"' on the second floor. As explained clearly on their webpage, no breakfast is offered except on Sundays. There is a...

We had a wonderful stay here. The owners are very nice, warm, and welcoming. The room was beautiful, well appointed, and clean. Homemade cookies and coffee are left out for guests, which is a wonderful personal touch. Breakfast was also homemade, a delicious 3 course meal. The inn was very quiet and relaxing. We felt like honored guests in these...

We have always enjoyed our stays at the Inn at Norwood in Sykesville, MD and the proprietors Kelly & Steve Crum have always accommodated our needs. We wanted to celebrate our 25th anniversary as a couple there, but our favorite room THE LOFT was not available so we chose THE WINTER ROOM in the main house. This room doesnt have...

We were a family of nine from two generations. It was quite a logistics feat to coordinate five households, flights, cars, and nearby wedding activities, all on a tight budget. Kelly and Steve made our accommodations easy. Kelly was especially helpful with the reservations process as our group size grew and we added rooms along the way. We arrived to...

Gracious old home with four en-suite rooms. Rooms are beautifully furnished with large comfortable beds and large bathrooms. I cannot comment on the breakfast because we skipped it because of other commitments, but because we skipped it there was a discount on the room. The inn is one block from the very interesting shopping street in Sykesville.

Secret Garden room has frig and nice whirlpool tub. Room is just really nice. Been here several times and always happy with the location and the room. Easy walk to a couple of different restaurants. Breakfast was not provided on Saturday which is a shame because the hosts make a great breakfast

Over the years, we have stayed many times at the Inn at Norwood as a precursor to a family visit minutes away. Kelly Crum and her husband are superb hosts who aim to please in making your stay comfortable, memorable and enjoyable. An unavoidable previous guest stay pre-empted our reservation in THE LOFT, but to Kelly's credit, she advised us...

This was a nice restful place that gave us what we were looking for...privacy and a large Jacuzzi tub. Kelly, the owner, was very sweet and accommodating - her breakfasts were delicious. We had a very nice stay in the Garden Cottage which is directly across from the main house with it's own entrance. There's not much to do in...

It was my first time staying at a B&B. Didn't know what to expect. I was a great experience. I was greeted by the owner and never saw her although someone was always available if i needed something. The other guest were friendly and pleasurable. It is a landmark older home so there were some issues with doors, but I...

I stayed at the Inn for two nights while visiting family nearby. The rooms are nicely decorated and the hosts are very amenable. If you want a room with a shower stall rather than in a tub with a shower, please confirm that before making your reservation. Sykesville is a quaint little town and it is quiet except when a...
