My husband and I spent our anniversary weekend here. It looks exactly like the photos on the website! Absolutely beautiful and Mary is an excellent innkeeper! Made us feel right at home. Breakfast is delicious and the inn is clean and cozy. We will be back for sure!

We celebrate our first date every year. It is usually dinner out but this year we decided to slip away for a couple of days. It has been many years since I last visited Deep Creek Lake but for some reason it came to mind and I stumbled on Carmel Cove Inn. It's a ten room B&B in a small...

My cousin and I met at Deep Creek Lake for a cousin getaway. Mary was a gracious and friendly hostess. We enjoyed the canoeing in the lake, making s'mores by the bonfire and just relaxing in the common room. Breakfast was delicious too. A great place to get away and enjoy time with friends or family.

Stayed 3 nights on the recommendation of family. Comfortable bed and pillows. The room was not large but rather felt like a guest room in a friend's house which is the basic idea behind bed & breakfast. The room and bathroom were very clean. Nice toiletries, small but efficient hair dryer. Hotel style bathrobes. We had a terrace room which...

Extremely cozy converted abbey with reasonably-sized rooms (bedroom, bathroom, and balcony) and very attentive, friendly staff. Great value for the price. The breakfast was always inventive and tasty, with almost zero wait time. The Inn provides free sodas/beers in the common room and a great selection of equipment that is free to use: bicycles, tennis gear, and two excellent canoes...

I'd never stayed in a place like this before, and now I think I'm spoiled for anything else. Totally unique, lovely property. First, the location is just beautiful. The inn is tucked away in the woods on a quiet cove where the motorboats and jet skis aren't speeding by, so it doesn't have the noise, kids and craziness we saw...

This is a very pretty place, and the owners are nice, but the walls are pretty thin - we could hear people walking through the halls clearly, down to the conversation, and I'm sorry to say that as nice as the chef/owner was, the food was just not very good.

Rooms and baths small, but well maintained and well-appointed. The common room is very nice, large, and warm and makes up for the small guest rooms. Service is excellent and great breakfast. Nightly bonfire is enjoyable. Lake access requires uphill walk coming back, but free canoes and the location is on a beautiful, quiet section of the lake. We enjoyed...

My husband and I recently stayed here to celebrate our 1 year anniversary and we LOVED IT!!! Mary and Joe, the innkeepers, were fabulous! They have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. When we first arrived, Mary gave us a tour of the inn and pointed out all of the amenities, including a well-stocked game and...

My husband and I just returned from our "babymoon" at Carmel Cove Inn. We had a wonderful experience and would recommend this inn to anyone! When we checked in on our first night, the innkeeper Mary spent some time taking us on a quick tour of the inn and pointing out local attractions/things to do, places to eat, etc. She...
