The Inn was just perfect for a girls weekend. It's very charming and quaint. Loved the outdoor firepit and fireplaces. The bed was super comfortable and the room was very clean. Knoxie's has spectacular food ! The Market is a great place for breakfast and snacks. The employees of both were so fun and pleasant.
The hotel has many amenities and beautiful moly maintained common areas. We had massages at the spa which were fantastic but expensive! I felt pressured to give a 20% tip by the spa receptionist. We had a hotel/spa package and the receptionist “reminded” me twice the FULL value of the massages (I already know to tip on full value) and asked informed me how much. 20% tip would be, out loud in front of another guest, and asked me if that is what I wanted to do. It was uncomfortable. The spa was clean and relaxing. Masseuse was friendly and I was very relaxed. We went to Knoxies for dinner for my birthday. We sat in the bar and had a drink since we arrived a bit early before our reservation. All staff were friendly and wore masks. We were seated at a table in the bar area for dinner instead of the dining room which was disappointing. The food was very good. The cooked my steak perfectly which most restaurants don’t get right. We sat in front of the fire pit after dinner which was very nice and warm. They let us use a throw blanket which was very nice. The market had many goodies to grab and go and some nice Christmas gits; fun to browse. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. I’m planning to return in spring for a weekend w my friends. …
This hotel is amazing, the modern farmhouse decor throughout, the amazing staff, the hotel grounds make you not want to leave. The large fire pit surrounded by rocking chairs make you feel at home! There is a herb garden on grounds where the restaurant gets their ingredients, a dipping pool to have you can relax, a market to shopping and snacks. It’s a must visit for sure.
My husband and I booked CBBC well over a year prior to our wedding date. Of course many things changed with Covid. The entire time there was no communication from CBBC on how they planned to handle the situation. It wasn’t until my mother reached out to them multiple times that we received any answers to our questions despite the fact that they required a 60% deposit if we want to keep our date. At one point they told us we were 100% able to move forward with our wedding but 5 days later and 2 months before our wedding they cancelled on us only, one of the three weddings scheduled for our date. They sold us on something they knew could not make work in attempts to force us to reschedule or postpone. We felt manipulated by them and had they only been transparent with what was going on I would not have posted this review.…
My wife and I visited for a long weekend, the property is very nice, cool outdoor amenities like the firepit and water feature, as well cool pocket areas to sit and relax or play games like giant chess and cornhole. We stayed in the barn, it was very nice! Friendly staff and great services, there's a cool little market too. Overall great experience. I'd avoid the spa, massages were subpar. Knoxie's Table was very nice!
