We really had a comfortable and enjoyable stay here. Too short , as we never got a chance to enjoy the pool due to pandemic restricted hours. Platinum Elite upgrade by the super friendly front desk staff was terrific. Some reviewers mentioned older furnishings and while true, everything was clean , neat and comfortable. Restaurant was closed because of Corvid 19 but ‘ grab and go ‘ breakfast bags were a nice touch. Super location to visit our friends and spend the day on their boat. We will definitely plan to stay here again. Kudos to manager ! Very responsive,
We booked a King Leisure Suite for Saturday and Sunday night over Colubus Day weekend. We had a wonderful stay. Our room was spacious, with a living area and kitchenette, complete with larger mini-fridge & microwave. We arrived around check-in time on Saturday and the hotel was packed! (Wedding, family reunion AND a class reunion). Nevertheless, we were checked in and up to our spacious room in about 10 minutes. ALL the staff at the holel during our entire stay were really nice and helpful. They had a lot of comraderie and worked together well. That really makes a difference and it is one of the things that made our stay such a good one. Even with a full hotel, service in the restaurant was very efficient. The food was good (except for the green beans, which were from a can). We slept well both nights. I think the design of the hotel is a bonus, with two separate "sleeping wings" and another wing with the restaurant and event rooms. This keeps the noise away from those who want to sleep. We only had a teensy bit of noise on Saturday night when folks from one of the reunions were returning to their rooms. The bed was comfortable. So why not 5 stars? The hotel is showing some wear & tear, and does need a refresh - especially the rugs. Also the food was good, but not terrific. The room was very comfortable, but the lighting was poor and there was no lamp on either side of the sofa. All in all, a very good stay. 4 stars then for a really nice weekend away. I would return. …
Great location, great hotel staff, food, and Jeff Shepherd is the very Best as he always goes out of his way to make our stay wonderful ! Isaac's restaurant on site is a good place to unwind for a nice drink as well as food as they have changed their menu for the better.Food and drink prices are very reasonable as well as service. We also enjoyed going there for dinner as well as happy hour for good food and drink as well.We have been going here for over 20 years now and we always enjoy our stay-especially in the summer as the pool is great as well as the gym.Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
The hotel is dated and the hallways need some work; however the entire area is beautiful especially the water, the view of the water from the rooms and the open "pier". The breakfast is available for a cost; however it is a full buffet with waffles, toast, eggs, etc. The customer service was outstanding and the hotel is a short drive from restaurants and other locations.
Holiday Inn Solomon’s-Conference Center & Marina 09-27-29-2019 Booking online was seamless. I prepaid my stay and received a slight discount. Didn’t take advantage of the breakfast that was alleged to have been available. Check in was friendly but I was not reminded about the breakfast and I forgot to ask. That being said, starting at the Front Desk all the staff I encountered were friendly and personable. The room set up was exactly as described. Nice TV, coffee maker with K-cups and a refrigerator. The bedroom and bathroom were clean. I found the bed to be very comfortable! I slept very well. I am not an expert on such things…but I did stay at a Holiday Inn! Very comfortable and enjoyable. We will stay here again! Great Team here! Thanks!
