We stayed at the Cedars this past weekend and it was wonderful. Doug and Sherry were fabulous hosts and made us feel welcome from the start. The bed room was clean and comfortable. Each morning they served a multi-course breakfast that was delicious and filling, with all the tea or coffee you wanted. The house had an interesting history and...

Lovely b&b with great hosts. Doug and his wife assisted us with information on local beaches and their relative merits, as well as info on the Island ponies. This was the perfect place for us to unwind. Nestled in a residential neighborhood, it was very quiet, and we found the beds very comfortable. We took naps in the afternoon and...

The Cedars has maintained their high standards: Doug and Sherry are charming hosts and give good advice on nearby attractions. the room we had was elegant, spacious and clean, and had a refrigerator. Breakfast had muffins, two fruits, juice, scrambled eggs with shrimp, and pancakes when we were there, but varies from day to day. we will be back.

We were in town for a baseball tournament and since it was 4th of July all of the hotels were booked. I am so glad that they were or we would have missed out on staying at this amazing house! The owners were incredible and the house was just beautiful! We will be back when we have more time to...

We were made to feel extremely welcome by Doug & his wife. The room was large with a very comfortable large bed. The bathroom was very luxurious. Breakfast was to die for, plentiful, home made and beautifully presented. We had a beautiful meal in the evening at the blue dog which was in walking distance from the b&b recommend by Doug

Staying at the Cedars B&B is simply wonderful and our Hosts, Doug and Sherri are like old friends. The location is perfect; on a quiet street and a short two block walk to downtown where food and stores wait to serve you. Park the car for your visit! The room was large, bright and had everything we needed. Breakfasts, well...

First time staying at a Bed and Breakfast. It was very inviting and comfortable. Enjoyed the large home atmosphere filled with beautiful furnishings. The owners were great and fixed a fabulous breakfast! Would love to stay there again.

First of all if your looking for a quiet, small town with tons of character and history this is the place for you. My wife and I were looking for a weekend getaway that wasn't the usual busy hotel, or crowded city. At the same time we weren't looking for a desolate place where we would have to drive hours...

My husband and I discovered this gem when we did our first Seagull Century bike ride and we have been coming back ever since. Everything about the place is just so wonderful! Where to begin? The rooms: carefully and uniquely decorated with whimsical accoutrements that reflect the owner's sense of humor and attention to detail. The hosts: Sherry and Doug...

The B&B itself was beautiful with a great mix of antique and interesting collections, any of which they will be happy to tell you about if you ask. The bed was SO comfortable and the room very spacious and beautiful. But like any B&B, it's the proprietors that really make the difference. Doug and Sherry are genuinely warm and friendly...
