We weren't sure if this inn was the right choice for a weekend getaway.  We're glad we took a chance.  We reserved the Foreward room at the Annex on the Bay (part of the Osprey Point Inn) after reading a few reviews.  The Annex is right on the water in the Gratitude Marina, with our Foreward room facing west towards the bay.  The room and bathroom were very clean, but they had a slight musty smell, which we got used to in no time.  After dinner at the Oyster Point restaurant (highly recommended), we went back to our room for a spectacular sunset.  We watched the bright, glowing sun slowly set.  It was a marvelous view. The next day, we were treated to a warm breakfast at the main Oyster Point Inn building, another delightful amenity.  We recommend this inn if you're looking for a mini getaway in a peaceful, calming, and extremely relaxing environment.

Osprey Point Annex is quiet, secluded, warm and inviting! The Forward Room is the best room! This room is the only room at the Annex that comes with a private, shaded balcony and spectacular water views. What a great surprise as we booked last minute and this was the only room available!! The room itself was beautiful and, as I told my son, the bathroom was top notch as it had a working fan and just a shower stall! It's the little things like this that will keep my husband and I coming back...to that room! The complimentary breakfast was top notch freshly made homemade fare, not your typical hotel food. Terry and her crew were warm and friendly!! Best weekend ever!!

My wife and I recently spent the weekend in Rock Hall, MD to attend a small birthday celebration for a family member. We picked The Inn at Osprey Point, based on reading the reviews on Tripadvisor and we did enjoy our stay at the inn. The Inn at OspreyPoint is very centrally located to the downtown area and all of the area attractions. The inn has two separate areas where they have quest rooms, the main inn where the majority of the facilities are (restaurant, check-in area, pool, bicycles and lake water toys) and the Osprey Annex which is just a couple of mins car ride down from the main inn. Both areas have great water views of the marina; our room was in the Annex location. We stayed in the Starboard room, which was a large room that was nicely decorated in a beachy/homey way. The only negative with the room, if you could call it that, was that the bathroom and shower is really small. The bed was very comfortable and the room had a fridge and a microwave. Our room had great marina views and an outside porch with chairs if you wanted to sit out and enjoy the views. There seems to be six or eight guest rooms in the annex ? We enjoyed staying there because it was a bit more quiet and secluded location vs the main inn area. However if you are looking to take advantage of all of the inn's facilities, I would suggest that you stay at the main inn location vs the annex. We would definitely stay here again....the town of Rock Hall has a really quaint downtown area with a lot of little shops to explore and places to grab food.

The room was merely adequate. There were some hooks on the wall, for hanging clothes but no drawers for putting clothes away and we were there for 4 nights. We were quite surprised to be awakened at 6:30 by the people in the boat yard who were yelling back and forth and moving large equipment around outside our room. The view from the porch was lovely but I would still only rate our visit as “OK.”

My wife and I decided to do a middle of the week getaway to the eastern shore and return to Rock Hall after an almost 10 year absence. The Inn is located on the bay in a beautiful setting in front of a grand marina filled with lovely sail boats! We stayed in the Bolero room which offered terrific views of the property and the marina and was right above the restaurant in the main building. Very comfortable with everything you need. They served a delicious buffet breakfast as well with tasty options. The restaurant experience was excellent in a comfortable setting. Service was first class and the food was absolutely delicious! Terry and here staff were terrific and provided wonderful service. What a great experience and we promise to return soon!!

We stayed in the Annex at the Gratitude Marina (Captain’s Quarters). It was a great location right on the bay and the room was very nice and spacious, with a walkout onto the dock where we found Adirondack chairs set out to relax and take in the views. You can also hear the water under the dock which was very relaxing as we slept. The room and bathroom were also very clean. It came with a small fridge and there was a microwave stored in the closet. The free deluxe continental breakfast was also very good with a delicious spread of food choices. And you will enjoy meeting Terry and her staff. They are terrific!

The staff... we can't say how much we appreciate the staff. They are professional and truly AMAZING! Terry Nelson the Innkeeper is truly the jewel of the property. She is hardworking, personable, and truly caring. The Inn and rooms.... are absolutely beautiful and very clean. It is like going back in time to the days of Colonial Williamsburg Va. The location... We can't say enough about where the Inn is located. The views are stunning. We stay in the Annex within Gratitude Marina. The sunsets are breath taking.
