We love this place. We go there once or twice a year to relax and unwind. Beautiful area for hiking or kayaking on the river. The food in Rockhall is wonderful and Jim and Joanne love helping you find places to eat or things to do in the area
A change of scenery and birthday getaway were in order and found just a short drive from home. The Inn at Huntingfield Creek had been recommended by a friend who had also enjoyed a couple’s getaway. We were warmly greeted by Phil , Jim and Joanne and their four fur babies. We stayed in The Island dog friendly cottage and were extremely comfortable. The spacious jacuzzi tub was perfect for relaxing in full view of the fireplace-very cozy! The king size bed was outfitted with inviting linens and very comfortable. Recommendations for dining and local vineyard were taken and highly enjoyed. We felt very safe being in the cottage and wandered the grounds to reconnect with nature. Thank you for a relaxing time away. We have and will recommend to friends.
I went to the Inn at Huntingfield Creek for my birthday this year for a COVID-safe weekend with my husband. The cottage was beautiful, clean and equipped with a cozy fireplace, a huge jacuzzi tub to relax in, comfy bed and even a kitchenette & grill. We enjoyed walking the beautiful grounds, view of the bay nearby, and the friendly dogs (of the owners) that greeted us when we went out. This is a lovely place to get away and relax for a weekend and enjoy truly kind hospitality from the people in Rock Hall whose town motto is literally “Nice People Live Here.” 10/10 would recommend!
We spent a few days at one of the cottages at the Inn at Huntingfield Creek. The place is beautiful and the cottage was cozy, clean and comfortable. It is a great option for a quiet and private outing. Even though all interactions were contactless, the owners and staff were always available and very helpful. Looking forward to returning in the future
Our cabin was modern, with ceiling fan and gas fireplace for our late autumn trip, and waterjet spa bathtub for relaxing in the evenings with a bottle of wine. The setting is a 70-acre tranquil farm, run by a retired world traveler, Jim, and featuring three friendly and quiet farm dogs who have free run of the property. Guests have the use of bicycles and kayaks to explore the farm property across field, trail, forest, and pier. During our stay, we had vouchers for a breakfast place in nearby Rock Hall's main street, just two miles up the road (the Inn owners also own the breakfast cafe). The Inn is conveniently located, with a half-hour drive to heritage Chestertown, a few minutes from Rock Hall's harbor and main street, and a few minutes from a wildlife refuge. During our stay, we enjoyed crab feasts, a beachside sunset and a harbor cruise sunset, and hikes and rambles. I'm looking forward to bringing my extended family next year.…
