We had a great stay at Coconut Malorie. Everything was very close to the resort. The room was very clean and pool clear. Customer service was good as well. Very friendly and whenever we needed anything like towels and pillows, they were very accommodating.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! Cockroaches in room!!! We checked in at 4pm. Went to the beach and came back to the hotel at 10pm only to find cockroaches crawling up the drapes! Went down to the office and they offered me a can of raid and no refund! The desk manager told me to spray the cockroaches and stay in the room! They refused to give us a room or refund our money!!! We ending up sleeping in our car because all hotels in OCMD were booked! Horrible customer service, horrible business practices! They charged us $190.71 for a room with cockroaches that we did not even stay in!! The general manager refused to speak to us! Refused to refund our money. We booked 1 year in advanced and it was labor day weekend. We were thrown out on the cub and all other hotels were booked. They did not

One of the goals of this vacation was to stay in a room with a bay view. I called this resort multiple times before we arrived to confirm that we could get a bay view room. I was told multiple times that yes, a bay view room was an option and our room would be assigned at check-in. We arrived early to check-in, and was then told that a bay view room was never an option for my type of timeshare exchange. They should have known this and informed me when I called to make my reservation, and specifically asked about the bay view. I would not have booked this resort if I knew I couldn’t get bay view! Needless to say the staff was not knowledgeable or helpful! The only room that was available was facing the parking lot, and this room had: outdated furniture, paint peeling on the

We only stayed 3 nights - on the first night the AC to the ENTIRE building shut down. It was not fixed until the next morning, using a rental AC unit that was in the parking lot. Temperatures were in the 90s that day. In addition, our room wasn't fully cleaned before our arrival. Sand and dirt were all over the floor, to the point our feet were black after walking on them. The furniture and the entire room smelled strange and musty. The jets in the bathtub didn't work. Lights broke during our stay. The pool also shut down. The overall appearance was very outdated and the tiles on the floor were uneven. Mold in the bathroom, along with several cracked/broken tiles. There is no extra security latch at the top of the doors, entry door or the inside door separating the rooms. And on

The room was run down and filthy. There was black mold on the shower walls, the cabinets were corroded at the bottom and the laminate was falling off the front, the utensils and cook ware were dirty, the fridge door was rusted and the seal was covered in filth, there were indeterminate stains on the head board and the floor tiles were so uneven as to be a tripping hazard.

First of all the room had sand all over the floor when we got there which I just swept up myself (there is a broom and dustpan in the closet) as it was just easier then calling for someone and waiting. Then I go to the supposed full kitchen, but it did not have an oven or dishwasher as promised and had 0 counter space. I had to use the toaster on one of the stove burners. I have leg and feet issues and asked for a handicapped room which I was told they did not have one.. i think this goes against ada policies! This made getting in and out of there jetted tub of over a foot high nearly impossible and I was afraid I was going to fall. Also the tub/shower was full of mold/mildew. The focets would turn on if you pushed them back to far. On night one I called because our remote for

We have had this timeshare for over 20 years and it just doesn't seem to get better. Yes we pay maintenance fee every year but nothing seems to be improved or updated. The couch that is in our room is the same orange/gold couch that has been here since we started this time share. Also the floors are always nasty. They say the clean the room but how is that I found trash in the drawers in the bathroom and kitchen. The hallways always have this foul odor along with it being quite warm when walking thru. The elevators are old and slow. Last year we asked for a handicap room must I say it is not up to par. The bathroom tub is a foot tall atleast. There is a bar to hold on to get up from toilet. Not to mention anyone who is disabled can not fit a wheelchair in the bathroom. Anyone

We stayed here because of timeshare points. Our 1 bedroom was very dated and not very clean. Found tiny ants crawling around. The balcony is TINY, the hot tub outside was dirty and just overall disappointing. The ac worked great which was a plus.
