I booked 2 suites for 2 nights then drove to the resort with 6 people. We arrived and front desk was closed. Security told me not to worry that my reservation and keys would be behind the desk. Well they weren’t and there was no way to get ahold of anyone. I prepaid. We were stuck with nowhere to stay and $100 in groceries that went bad. Mind you, I called before we left to put in a request for our rooms to be near each other. They knew we were coming. They seemed very “un” sympathetic the next day. They issued a refund but I feel like they should’ve done more. Ruined my family’s entire weekend! Very poor customer service!
We had no heat so our stay wasn't really enjoyable! The tile around the tub was broke, the hot water didn't seem to heat up very well, the communication sucks when you report something. Now I know why it was a good price.
I booked a Suite for Valentine's Day Weekend. The pictures made this place look like it could be a very beautiful property and I was excited that the room came with a jetted tub. Well when I arrived, I was totally wrong smh....this place is VERY DIRTY, BUGS, the tub was so disgusting. I went to the front desk to request different accommodations. I was given another room which wasn't much better. NEEDS TO BE CLEANED AND A ENXTERMINATOR. Elevator full of green mold.
Hot water luke warm, makes you take quick showers. Stove burners take forever to heat up, cooking takes forever. Units need a good cleaning. Coffee pot on a small stand, that hasn't been cleaned for many months and uses. Bed small and very very soft. Female front desk customer service not friendly or welcoming. Never look up to say good morning or good evening. Weird.
We checked in on November 12 for a nice weekend to attend the Fagers island shell shocked event for the weekend. We loved the location of this property and the price. However when checking in to our room, it was completely and horribly hot! Like 98 degrees hot! The thermostat showed that temperature and of course you’d think for November that might be ok but no not even when it’s -25 degrees out is that ever ok. They told us at the front desk that the air conditioning is turned off for the season so we couldn’t cool the room down nor really do anything about that. Ummm that is completely unacceptable for customer service anywhere! The front desk could care less about it, they didn’t apologize once for this unfortunate situation and maybe I wouldn’t be writing this review if they would have been nice one bit. Luckily hotels.com gave us our money back. Luckily next door at Residence Inn by Marriott they took extremely great care of us and got us a room pronto! Zina at the front desk was the nicest person I’ve ever met! Thank you to her for amazing customer service! I should have booked here first!…
This hotel needs a complete overhaul! Booked thru my timehare, a lot of Mold, and the elevator looked like it wasn’t cleaned in a year! So much for deep cleaning during covid! The only good thing about the resort was it’s location and the people at the front desk. The Manager needs a serious lesson on Customer Service. No help at all and quite Rude!!
We had a great stay at Coconut Malorie. Everything was very close to the resort. The room was very clean and pool clear. Customer service was good as well. Very friendly and whenever we needed anything like towels and pillows, they were very accommodating.
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! Cockroaches in room!!! We checked in at 4pm. Went to the beach and came back to the hotel at 10pm only to find cockroaches crawling up the drapes! Went down to the office and they offered me a can of raid and no refund! The desk manager told me to spray the cockroaches and stay in the room! They refused to give us a room or refund our money!!! We ending up sleeping in our car because all hotels in OCMD were booked! Horrible customer service, horrible business practices! They charged us $190.71 for a room with cockroaches that we did not even stay in!! The general manager refused to speak to us! Refused to refund our money. We booked 1 year in advanced and it was labor day weekend. We were thrown out on the cub and all other hotels were booked. They did not offer to put us in a new room or to put us in a different hotel. They did not reimburse our money or help at all! General manager refused to help us. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!…
Overall Horrible experience. Hotel was full of MOLD. Maintenance confirmed MOLD (Maintenance man was the only person that attempted to help) Management/Front Desk refused to help/relocate. Management refused to speak with me.
One of the goals of this vacation was to stay in a room with a bay view. I called this resort multiple times before we arrived to confirm that we could get a bay view room. I was told multiple times that yes, a bay view room was an option and our room would be assigned at check-in. We arrived early to check-in, and was then told that a bay view room was never an option for my type of timeshare exchange. They should have known this and informed me when I called to make my reservation, and specifically asked about the bay view. I would not have booked this resort if I knew I couldn’t get bay view! Needless to say the staff was not knowledgeable or helpful! The only room that was available was facing the parking lot, and this room had: outdated furniture, paint peeling on the ceiling, a filthy tile floor, hard mattress, and mold/mildew in the bathroom. Don’t take a chance to get stuck with a bad room like this one!…
