Detailed Reviews
My husband and I booked a room here for our anniversary getaway. We’ve been coming to OC for years and have stayed at more than 12 properties/condos on the boardwalk. I’ll say we were pleasantly surprised with the Breakers, especially considering the price. Our room (500) was among the cleanest of ANY property we’ve stayed at on the boardwalk, including some very pricey hotels. The lobby and pools were very clean and well kept; the property was secure. The decor was a little dated and the beds were a little more firm than we’d like but overall we were very, very pleased. Front desk staff was friendly at check in and housekeeping kept up with our room. It was quiet and parking was not an issue. We had a room with a side view but Next time I’d try an oceanfront; that’s just our preference. We will definitely return to the Breakers and I’ll recommend to our friends and family for a budget friendly, clean hotel with an awesome location.

This was the first time my husband and I stay at a hotel on the boardwalk. The first 2 nights we were in the semi ocean/ boardwalk view, it was so nice king bed lots of room and the bathroom was the nicest cleanest I have seen. We then decided to extend our stay and got very lucky to upgrade to a ocean front, the room was amazing we felt like a king and queen. The room service was beyond excellent, when we extended our stay and switched rooms we loaded our stuff on a cart left it in our old room and they moved it to our new room for us once the room was ready in the mean time we went shopping at the outlet stores. We are already thinking of what week in September 2022 we want to go back. The staff and hotel get all thumbs up.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Breakers during Labor Day weekend. The hotel is conveniently located on the boardwalk that includes parking close to the hotel. The room was large and clean with a beautiful view of the ocean from the balcony. The hotel was very quiet which we loved. We also liked that the Dough Roller restaurant was right downstairs for breakfast and/or dinner. The kids didn't want to leave. We'll be staying again.

The hotel was excellent for our five night stay. We stayed on the 3rd st side. Please be aware boardwalk performers can be out until 1 AM. There was a karaoke performer one night. This did not effect us but those with oceanfront rooms were complaining when we saw them in the hall.

Health and safety issue! We recently stayed at The Breakers. On our last night it rained (poured), and this rain came through the new windows in our room. It soaked the towel (given by the woman at the front desk to remedy the situation) in minutes. You will see the wall is bubbling, the carpet was soaked and there is an electrical outlet in the path of the water. My family decided to leave because we were concerned about water and live wires. We paid $345 for this night's stay even though we left at 6 pm. I called several times before hearing back from the manager who said "Corporate apologizes for the inconvenience but there's nothing they can do". Buyer beware- this isn't a safe way to conduct business.

After staying at about every decent hotel in OCMD, this was our first time at the Breakers Hotel. It won't be our last. Hidden gem! You can definitely see the difference between big chain hotels and a hotel privately owned. The level of care and upkeep is immediately apparent. Cleaner than any hotel I've ever stayed at and housekeeping was above expectations! Every single employee we encountered was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Room was immaculate and furnished to be warm and comfortable. Spacious rooms, bathroom modern, clean, and with nice fixtures (double sink, nice cabinetry and fixtures). Location is right on the Boardwalk. Little touches that you don't find at other hotels (lighted makeup mirror, actual throw rugs at each of the double bath sinks, blinds, and blackout curtains) were appreciated. Plenty of towels provided. Spacious two-room suite with comfortable queen beds, two TV's, and sleep sofa in separate living room area. Parking not as convenient as some hotels and boardwalk noise are only two items I could think to mention, but everything else makes up for those two things. I don't think I've never given a rating of 5 until now. None of us could find anything bad to say about our stay. Loved this hotel!!!!!

We actually started out in another hotel, but thank God Breaker’s rescued us!! This place is absolutely great! The staff at the desk are top notch, they go above and beyond. The rooms, are very large, clean and comfortable. We had a queen oceanfront suite, and there was plenty of room for 4 adults. What started out to be a horrible getaway, turned into a wonderful one!! When looking for a place to stay in OC, please check out THE BREAKERS ON 3RD STREET, you can’t go wrong!

The Breakers is like a home away from home. Very clean and comfortable. The staff is great. They've become like family after all the years we've been going there. Very friendly. The Hotel is in a great spot. Dough Roller Restaurant is below the Hotel and Dunkin Donuts is less than a block away.
I would 100% recommend The Breakers Hotel!!!!!!!
Keep up the good work!

My family and I have stayed at this property for the past several years, and I must say it is great every year. The staff is so friendly, and welcoming. They do their best to get us our oceanfront suite 510 every year. The rooms are immaculate, and extremely clean. The decor is beautiful, and very beachy. The indoor pool is great for those rainy days, and the location is great. I would highly recommend this to any family looking for a safe, clean, beautiful place to stay in OCMD.

Hello
No, There are not any doors that separate the areas in the Ocean Front Suites and Family Suites which have the sleeper sofa.
We certainly love our furry friends, but they are not allowed to stay at The Breakers Hotel.
There are several hotels in Ocean City that allow pets. You can check the Ocean City website for a list of those hotels. You can refine your search, and get a list of amenities, which include pet friendly.
One of our VIP guests just answered this question above and he is absolutely correct.
Each room has a microwave, coffee maker and mini fridge but no stove.
Dear Ryan S., yes our hotel is handicapped accessible. We have parking, a ramp to enter the building, elevators to all floors and even a handicapped accessible room. I hope you will consider staying in our hotel as the staff is very accomodating and would be helpful should the need for assistance arise.
