Enjoyed our stay at the Hilton over Easter break. We had a corner king suit and the view was great. Enjoyed the jacuzzi tub in the room. Plenty of space. Definitely enjoy having the full kitchen so we can cook breakfast, etc. Close to the boardwalk. Everything was clean and covid precautions were being followed. Would stay again!
We were looking for a local get away for our annual birthday / anniversary trip and did not want to deal with out of state travel. Being relatively new to Maryland we decided on Ocean City. As a previous reviewer pointed out, we had booked a room at the Holiday Inn because of its location on the Boardwalk. A couple of days before our trip the Holiday Inn called and said they were closing for maintenance and moved us to the Hilton, turned out great for us. The Hilton is on the beach, not on the Boardwalk but a very easy walk to get there. Parking was easy and free, the hotel is very clean and well maintained, COVID protocols are in place but that’s the world we live in now. From check in to check out the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The indoor pool is open until midnight and very nice and relaxing, never saw more than a couple of people in there at any time. The hotel restaurant has a good menu and great service. We stayed during the week so most of the surrounding restaurants and attractions were closed but most of them seem to open on Friday. Get the Hilton Honors app before you go, that made it very easy to navigate around the hotel and Ocean City. Thank you for a very memorable mini vacation, we will definitely be back when the weather warms up. …
The rooms themselves are fine. The location is a give and take: you're past the boardwalk, so no boardwalk access, but it makes it quieter. The problem is the service. We wanted housekeeping after our second night, but pretty much all they did was change the bed. No cleaning/ taking out the trash occurred and we had to call down for toiletries. Mold at the tub caulk was here when we checked in and of course continues to be here. Now we're still waiting on our breakfast to come by room service that we ordered about 40 minutes ago, but the front desk is unwilling to extend check out at all (we have gold status, though that's probably not worth much) instead suggesting that we ourselves call the restaurant and try to convince them to rush it. It's not like the staff will instantly turn over all the rooms, so I don't know why they can't add a few minutes, but even if they can't at least they could be the ones to tell their own restaurant to hurry.…
Very nice hotel with a great restaurant and view. Parking was a little hard after certain hours, but the bugs in the kitchen area were an issue. The staff was amazing and very attentive. Check was fast and easy.
Nice place. Spent more $$ to ensure quality of service abs cleanliness. Go somewhere else for breakfast - restaurant has slow service, nice staff, but slow. The food was all room temperature and just overall, disappointing.
