We chose this location in OCMD due to proximity to the boardwalk. I was a quick 3-4 block walk to boardwalk. We also chose hotel based on Tesla Destination car charger. The charger is located in the hilton overflow parking lot next to higgins crab house. We stayed in a king corner suite. Everything was clean and the view was gorgeous from the balcony. The hotel was very clean and following COVID precautions. We took advantage of the contactless check in on the Hilton app which includes digital key. We had to go to the main desk for key cards as you can only have the digital key on one phone. We had plenty of towels in the room but were encouraged to call the front desk if we needed anything else in the room. There is a full kitchen with dishes and utensils. Outdoor pools were clean. we did not use the indoor pool during our stay. walk to the beach from hotel grounds. We were offered an amenity key after check out but did not use. You can stay and use fitness center, pools, changing rooms after you check out. Would recommend this hotel and stay again!

Rooms were disappointing. As soon as we entered, there was sand on the tiles floor in the kitchen and bathroom. If the room was cleaned and ready for our arrival, this should not be. The floor where the beds were was damp the entire trip. Even when removing our clothes from the dresser drawers, they too felt damp. No cleaning service at all. They say to call for things needed. Should not have to call for fresh towels after our third day there. The pools were not cleaned at all! Hot tub was drained one time and still had sand all in it the next morning at 7am. If its drained, clean it! The pool lady, MaryAnn, was not a nice person at all. When lifeguards took their breaks, she would tell ADULTS in the hot tub they had to leave. But other lifeguards let them stay in. Her personality was definitely lacking. Heard her tell one guest they had too much to drink!! Well, that's not your place to say that. RUDE! I would suggest if no children are not allowed to be in the hot tub, maybe remove it from the children area of the hotel. Pools were freezing!! Maybe a little heat and people could actually enjoy them. Just take the chill off in September. I will not say that I wont stay in another Hilton, but I will not come back to this one.

The toilet didn't flush right, every single towel was disgusting with stains on them (seriously??), the bathroom vent was useless to help the humidity during a hot shower (not to mention dirty). For over $300 for 1 night and it being a Hilton Hotel, I expected better. I've stayed at other Hilton Hotels and never had an issue so this was extremely disappointing. The only good thing about this room was the ocean view.

We booked a last-minute short trip to Ocean City, MD and were excited to secure a room at this oceanfront property. The property location is fantastic; all rooms are suites and the views are unmatched. The front desk staff were professional, accommodating and helpful, which was a plus. The sleeping room / suite was very clean and included many amenities which made for a comfortable stay. Pool bar wait staff were friendly and very service oriented. Sadly - and not as a result of COVID-19 precautions and/or restrictions - the outdoor pools, pool deck and deck furniture were not clean. The pools had sand in the bottom of them over the 3-day period we were staying, and there was never any type of pool maintenance done during our visit (wiping down of pool handles at pool entry points, cleaning of bird droppings off of pool edge, etc.). Realizing the property is located on the beach, one would assume there might be a little bit of sand here and there; however, this was large amounts of sand (photos have been submitted to Trip Advisor for posting) and it was evident there was no effort made to use the pool vacuum to clean the bottom of or skim the outdoor pools. In addition, there was a significant amount of seagull feces on the pool deck and lounge chairs. Again, no effort made by pool staff and/or maintenance to clean these areas during our entire stay. The outdoor swimming pools were not heated which made it impossible to use them. The water was beyond freezing (exterior temperatures during the day were in the 70's; temps dropped into the 50's at night). When two members of the hotel staff were asked about the pool heaters, we were told the "boiler" had been broken for a while. Also, "clean" pool towels were dumped in a bin w/ a hand-written sign labeled "clean towels." The towels were not folded and were literally lumped into a bin for resort guests to use. The soap dispensers in the bathrooms located near the pools required you to touch them which was not sanitary. In general, the hotel common areas were not very clean with smears on the windows and in the elevators on the elevator walls and key pads. Disappointingly, if one wanted to order room service, there was no disposable printed menu in the room or QBR code to pull up a menu on your phone. Upon calling the front desk to inquire, we were told no menus were being provided due to COVID-19 and we should look up the menu on the restaurant web site. Unfortunately, we could not locate a menu on the restaurant web site. No effort was made to provide any type of menu option detail to the guests. The small Starbuck kiosk in the main lobby had inexperienced staff who did not know how to make the drinks upon ordering. Also, they were seen sitting on the floor behind the kiosk which seemed less than sanitary. We are not sure if we would return to the hotel as we felt for the $250+ / night we paid did not provide full use of the available amenities. Again, not as a result of COVID-19 restrictions and/or precautionary measures, but due to either a lack of staff or lack of effort by the hotel management.

We were nervous reading some of the reviews, but our experience was the opposite. Check in was quick, less than 10 minutes. We had the corner King suite so there was a full kitchen and very roomy for our family of 3. We stayed for 3 nights so we got 1 day of room cleaning. Housekeeping came in the evenings to give us extra towels and more than enough toiletries. This hotel definitely needs some updating but overall we had a good time here.
