Had a lovely stay! Quiet, relaxed area. Scenic view. Cabin was stunning, well equipped with amenities for everyday life. Already booked a second trip. Great romantic get away for a couple looking for some R & R.

There is no sound insulation between rooms. The place states that quiet hours start at 10pm, but and people complied with that. However, we could hear conversations from the adjoining room which were not loud.

I made a reservation directly with them, for two nights and as they took my 450 deposit . There is a 7 day grace period in which if I cancel they will refund my deposit. Surprise, surprise. When I called 7 days and 6 hours prior the check-in time of the day of arrival, I was told I am late and they will not refund the deposit. So practically they have not 7 but 8 days grace period for cancellation but they do not tell you. They also do not accept cancellation by email and open at 9:00 a.m although they said they start counting the 7th day at 8:00 a.m.

Vacation ruined due to ‘Crystal’ at the reception desk. We reserved cabin 5, gave $529.00 deposit. Videos currently on the multiple websites show an outdoor fire pit at cabin 5. Because it was so important to us, we called to Confirm (within the cancellation period) that there was a wood burning firepit at cabin 5 and they said YES Two days later (within the cancellation.period) we were told that the fire pit was broken two weeks ago, the maintenance department is working in it. We called the next day and were told that the Fire pits were removed 1 year ago. We nicely told them that we would like to cancel our reservation because building evening fires was a priority for our vacation. Crystal was extremely rude and said that we cannot cancel because we are not within the cancellation period. The property is privately owned by Jonathan Kessler, DCLhotel.com Crystal would not allow us to speak to him. We reached out to him on LinkedIn and he did not respond.
