I booked a weekend at their Bed & Breakfast for my boyfriend's birthday in June and it was everything I was hoping for! Everyone (including the animals) was so friendly and accommodating. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. Our hosts, Judy and Roy, gave wonderful recommendations for restaurants and activities outside of the farm when we wanted to check out the surrounding area. We had a late dinner at Kitty Knight less than 10 minutes from the farm our first night there and after a hearty breakfast on Saturday we enjoyed the farmer's market and walking around downtown Chestertown before coming back to the farm to enjoy a wine tasting and lunch in their tasting room. Shortly after I made the reservation and explained to Judy that I was planning this weekend as a birthday celebration for my boyfriend, she called me to let me know that they were hosting a Chef's Table dinner the weekend we were there. I'm so very glad she did and that we were able to purchase tickets before it sold out. The mystery Chef's Table dinner was an absolutely scrumptious 4 course meal, plus hors d'oeuvres paired with the winery's own wines. When our palates weren't being spoiled by this amazing French chef, Judy's homemade meals are hearty, satisfying and made with love. The weather during our weekend there was hot and sunny. It was a perfect weekend to indulge in wine tasting and lunch on their tasting room's patio, then cool off in their refreshing pool. Truly a rejuvenating weekend; perfect for a birthday treat, anniversary or as a retreat when not having any specific event other than life to celebrate!

I recently stayed here after attending an event at Crow Vineyards and the ability to be right on property was outstanding. We got to see the comings and goings of both the winery and the farm. The Crow family was happy to tell us about the animals they care for. The room we stayed in (Vineyard View) was beautiful and cozy with antique touches. Since it was hot we even had the opportunity to enjoy the pool on property. The morning breakfast was fantastic with fresh fruit, smoothies, baked apples, and an amazing frittata. Location wise, the farm is just outside of Kennedyville which is one of many blink and you'll miss it small towns along the Eastern shore. It is a reasonable distance to both historic Chestertown and Chesapeake City as well as delicious restaurants. For those looking to visit wineries on the Chesapeake Wine Trail, Crow is a perfect spot with several other wineries nearby. Between the convenient location, exciting activities on the farm, and overall peaceful atmosphere Crow Farmstay B&B is a great choice for anyone looking to stay on the Eastern Shore.

We love Crow Farm. The winery is the best in Maryland. The B&B is in the family farm house. The home is warm and inviting, and the bedrooms are clean and spacious. The breakfasts are always fresh from the local area/Crow Farm. This is a great getaway and restful weekend.

If you like a real farmstead breakfast, classy accommodations, animals and/or wine, you’re in luck. My partner and I recently stayed here for a country getaway New Year’s Eve. This multi-interest B&B is the perfect staging point for Eastern Shore adventures of all types. The proprietors are savvy with farm-to-table products, and are key players in the Maryland wine industry - all while being gracious hosts. I have stayed at many a B&B. . . this one is different, and highly recommended.

My husband and I had a wonderful weekend getaway staying at Crow bed and breakfast! The farmhouse is very quaint and the inhabitants very welcoming. Upon arrival we were greeted by Judy Crow, our host, her farm Labrador, Myrtle, and Curious, one of her house cats. We dropped our things off in our room and immediately walked over to the wine tasting room (a couple hundred feet away from the main house). The staff were very nice and let us stay past closing time while we finished our tastings. The wines were delicious and we made sure that each night we bought a bottle back to have in our room later. They also sell beef from their cows and farm-fresh eggs in the tasting room. You are welcome to walk around and visit the cows (there was a week old calf the weekend we stayed), the chickens, and miniature ponies. We stayed in the Barn View Room, which although the smallest of the four rooms, was quite spacious. The room and bathroom (with tub) was very clean and provided all the amenities that you would expect (i.e., TV, WiFi, Hairdryer, bottled water, etc.) The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable which in combination with the quiet of the farm made for sound sleeping. Coffee and teas are set out in the morning starting at 7:00 am. If you go down early, before breakfast, you will find Curious waiting in the sun room for stroking. She took to my husband and settled herself on his lap each morning while he had his coffee. A sit-down farm-to-table breakfast is provided in the downstairs dining area starting at 8:30 am. Judy is a wonderful cook and breakfast was delicious! On our first morning we had yogurt and kiwi, berry smoothie, mini blueberry muffins, sauteed sweet potato; and a vegetable, ham, and cheese omelet. The second day's breakfast was a banana smoothie, a warm fruit and granola compote, medium-rare flank steak (from her cattle), a rosemary and root vegetable hash; and a tomato, feta, and vegetable frittata. We left stuffed! After Breakfast, Myrtle typically came around to beg for head and belly scratches! Judy is a wealth of information about the surrounding community both in terms of activities and options for dinner. We walked around the small town of Chestertown during the day which is composed of art galleries, restaurants and coffee shops, boutique clothing stores, and a local distillery. On Saturdays there is a farmer's market in the center of town. You can also walk to the boat docks and on the weekend we stayed there were boat races. For dinner we visited a local Thai restaurant (Cafe Sado) and an excellent american restaurant (Barbara's on the Bay). If you want to venture slightly further afield, there are two other wineries approximately 30 minutes north of Crow Vineyards, a nano-brewery (Bull and Goat) about 20 minutes south, and Blackwater distillery approximately 45 minutes south. The vineyard is also close to the town of Chesapeake, although we did not make it there. Overall, we had a very enjoyable time and are already planning our next visit!

I had the quietest sleep of my life at this lovely, 19th century B&B, which is also a working farm, vineyard, and wine club. The B&B house was built in 1847 and sits on such lovely, spacious Kent County farmland. It's very near the historic Shrewsbury church, and just ten minutes north of Chestertown, off Highway 213. Angus cows graze outside your bedroom window, and the chickens that greet you when you drive up supply the eggs for the morning's breakfast. We stayed in the very smallest room, which was still quite spacious and comfy -- the other rooms were twice as large as ours, and all have gorgeous, wide-plank wooden floors. The place is a getaway secret for the cognoscenti -- the weekend we stayed, a Ferrari club convened at the farm, so there were high-end sports cars alongside the grazing black angus cattle!

Live on the farm, vineyard, winery and farmstay B&B can at times feel very hectic to us. The visitors to our B&B or wine Tasting room always help us to recognize how important our work is on the farm. Thanks for noticing all our rural environment has to offer.

Judy and Roy are very warm and friendly hosts! As soon as my husband and I arrived Roy took us on his golf cart to see the chickens, miniature horses, and the newborn calf, which weighed 90 pounds! They also asked if we wanted to do a wine tasting when we arrived. I love their dessert wine! We bought a few bottles. For an extra charge Judy cooked a homemade black Angus stew with local root vegetables. I have never tasted such great beef that you did not even need a knife to cut because it was so tender! She also made a crab appetizer, salad with a fig balsamic dressing, and a brownie with rose wine ice cream. She is a gourmet chef! Breakfasts were just as tasty with fresh eggs from their chickens. We booked the pasture room which had a beautiful view of the green pasture and the pregnant black Angus cows. We were hoping one would be born while we were there. All the rooms have private bathrooms, but the bathroom for the pasture room was private but across the hall. The other two rooms had their bathrooms in their rooms. The decor of the house and room had many antiques and family heirlooms. The bed in the pasture room was extremely comfortable! Judy recommended stores in the area that sold local products, which we bought zucchini bread, dressings, olive oil, etc... from. Their dog, Mrytle, was so friendly and loveable! Staying there made me feel relaxed and I actually was able to forget about work. My only regret was that we were not able to stay longer!

We were in search for a place to stay for the Dover NASCAR race weekend. I came across the Crow Farm B&B and knew I needed to look no further! The landscape is pristine, the cozy cottage was clean and stocked with everything we could have needed including fresh and homemade breakfast foods to prepare. Judy and her family welcomed us with open arms and made us feel right at home. The farm and vineyard landscape offered immediate and guaranteed relaxation. We even had 4 mini horses as our next door neighbors! Gorgeous sunsets, views of grazing cattle, deer, and farmland as far as the eye can see made the drive from Maine well worth a wonderful long weekend at Crow Farm.

Our son and his wife's wedding was in Chestertown In September and my husband and I hosted the Rehearsal Dinner, at the suggestion of our Daughter-in-law to be at the time, at the Crow Vineyard. It was a beautiful farm and very well taken care of. Judy Crow was wonderful to work with. We first spoke in January and started the planning process. Judy was always available to answer questions or concerns and do whatever necessary to make our event just as we imagined. The Rehearsal Dinner was held in the beautiful 'barn' and the food was absolutely scrumptious (the crow beef was featured)! And the wine was fabulous. All our guests raved about both the food and the wine! The Bride's family even served the Crow Vineyard wine at the wedding reception. The 'barn' was decorated nicely with cloth table coverings, plates and silverware and flower centerpieces with votive candles. Judy asked for the wedding colors and theme and incorporated these things into the dinner decor. She was very helpful with my photo arrangement i wanted to display and helping my daughters set up the projector for a video they had put together and wanted to show at the dinner. We would recommend the Crow Vineyard for any event you may want to host there. It was a wonderful experience and we would do it again!
