Carol is an amazing hostess and has the right balance of talking enough to be hospitable, but also leaving guests to enjoy the garden and spend time together. I appreciated that. She was also very helpful in recommending local places to eat and shop. I will be back if I'm in the area again.

We have been here several times and cannot wait to visit again. Carol is the most gracious hostess and a fabulous cook as well! The rooms just breath elegance! The mansion itself is opulent. If you would like to step back in time but with modern amenities, and to relax, this is definitely the place to stay.

my husband and I spent the weekend at this B&B mansion. The owner Carol was very helpful and lovely. Breakfast was great and the Mansion is super clean. We really enjoyed our stay and have been to many B & B's in different states. The weather was great and we got to do some sightseeing

The antiques are beautiful, down to the smallest detail. This is a genuine mansion, but still human-size. It is the historic star of Havre de Grace, which itself is one of the few unspoiled towns on the East coast. On sunny days the promenade along the Susquehanna is all you could hope for.

My husband & I stayed in the Carriage House March 25-27, 2016 and had a wonderful time. Carol made certain that all our needs were met, including a tour of the main house and must-see sites. We actually requested one of the mansion rooms & were upgraded to the Carriage House. Breakfast was a nice experience with several other couples... More

Easily one of the nicest B&B's I've stayed in. We stayed in the carriage house with 2 kids and our dog. Carriage house is so cool, huge jacuzzi tub and kitchenette. Circular iron staircase to second floor bedroom. Inside the main house is amazing, like you stepped into the Gilded Age. It still manages to feel homey and comfortable. Carol... More

This place is gorgeous. A one-woman project of love and attention to detail, it is surprisingly affordable. Carol will make your breakfast to order. She leaves chocolates, fruit, and plants in your room. Little touches include fluffy robes, menus for local restaurants, a flashlight, and a corkscrew. She will tell you what to look for and where to go. Stay... More

Spent a lovely evening in the Iris Room. The whirlpool tub is big enough for two and perfect after a long drive. Carol is a most gracious host and her home is just beautiful. Breakfast was both generous and delicious.
