This is my second time staying at this Red Roof and I'm still satisfied. The only drawback about this location is lack of an elevator, so anyone with mobility problems will need to get a ground-floor room. But everything else is really nice. They have a really good weekly rate if you need that. They keep everything very clean -- both inside the rooms and outside as well. It gets very quiet at night with no shady people walking around doing sketchy things. I've had zero problems with A/C unit, fridge, or microwave. WiFi isn't blazing fast but it's good enough for most tasks like watching YouTube videos. Parking can get kinda packed but I would recommend staying at the back lot of rear building where there seems to be the most open slots. There isn't any convenience store nearby but there is a couple restaurants next door you can walk to. I noticed a lot of food delivery to this location as well.

I stayed for a day with my family on May 30th. The room was neat and clean. The motel was well placed in natural habitat. The only issue I faced was, there is no elevator facility since it is a 2 floor building. Hence, I was forced to lift my luggage to second floor. Otherwise, it's a nice stay.

The price was right for this place. I like Red Roof because they have floors instead of rugs. It was clean but my only complaint was that it smelled Smokey in the room even though they were no smoking rooms.

I was excited to find a Red Roof Inn when I needed a place to crash during my drive back home to NYC, after I just had such a great stay with the Red Roof in Hardeeville. I would have driven straight through to NYC but for safety reasons (very bad rain storm and feeling tired from driving all day), I chose to pull over and sleep for a bit instead. It was already well into the morning (1/2am) and all I needed was a bed. I expressed this to the young woman at the front desk and she quoted what seemed to me to be a very high price. She would not budge on this rate and had a rude, I-don’t-care demeanor. It seemed she’d rather the room sit empty than book it for a fair price. I’d be spending a whopping 6-7 hours there. Additionally, I’m happy that I always read the small print (despite being very tired) because I saw something about a safe fee. When I checked out the next morning, I asked the new front desk assistant if I had been charged for it because I did not use the safe. She assured me that it was unlikely but upon checking, sure enough, the young girl had tacked it on. This is certainly not the level of service I was accustomed to at my previous Red Roof Inn. I thought maybe the major price jump was since this location was a Red Roof Plus but there was nothing extra about it! I had less amenities than I did at my regular Red Roof Inn. Never again.
