Some described this establishment as "Vintage", I would suggest old and tired. Rooms have little or no updating since this Motel was built I would suspect. But...having said this the rooms were extremely clean, with flatscreen TV's. Breakfast was very limited but there is a good restaurant right across the street. The grounds outside could use some maintenance. Owners have... More

The hotel is not actually on the main street of Hancock, it is on a highway above it. The room that I had was #109 and was clean with a comfortable king-sized bed, a couch, table, etc. There is a good restaurant across the street called Potomac Grill. I used Priceline to book the hotel. There is easy walking access... More

rooms are very updated and clean and the new owners are welcoming and accommodating. Biked from Cumberland and shower was hot on demand, hose for bike, ice, etc. feels cozy. Recommend. Not much from the outside, but inside is nice and beds are very good. Also, restaurant across street is good.

Stopped here very late from the freeway, a quick and friendly checkin despite the late hour. Rooms were very clean, cute and vintage. Outside is eclectic and fun, lots of flowers. The free breakfast was simple but good. Would highly recommend a stay here if you are passing through!

Like many others here, riding the C&O brought me to this location which has good access to the trail. Positives - clean sheets and clean appearance. Laundry and bike cleaning facilities. Small motel charm, friendly service. Negatives - the air conditioning/air smelled musty and damp. Furniture/beds/carpet/TV all need updating. Front Office - sorry, but smelled bad of cats which turned... More

Thank you so much for your review! It is always a pleasure to get a feedback from our customers. Cleanliness is priority and you are right we keep it up all the time. The furniture update - we do have 50% of flat screen TVs in rooms. WE are just a small family so we change them very slowly until... More

I spent two nights here while doing a long bike trip on the C&O Canal. Very bike-friendly, easy access to both C&O and Western MD trails. Room wasn't fancy but was clean and had everything I needed, including a nice orange cat who came and visited with me while I was reading outside on the porch. Loved the outdoor décor!

Bedding clean. Pull out couches were disgusting. Leftover kids clothes and crumbs jammed in the couch. George the night manager was a little gruff but I think it was him trying to be funny. He was fine. Don't read into him much.

Thank you so much for your review! I apologize for the pull out couch. I did talk to my housekeepers and made sure they are cleaning the couch on everyday basis. George is my father in law and he is old school guy with great sense of humor. We really hope to see you in future! More

Older motel-type place which is kept in extremely good condition. Owner was very friendly and helpful. We were biking the C&O and were able to clean our bikes, get ice, and do laundry. Room was big enough and very clean. We were leaving earlier than breakfast time so they let us take food the night before.

Family-run motel, small-town charm. Quirky Decor, everything was very clean and worked. A throwback to the motor hotels from the 1950s, but with modern AC, TV, locks. The owner went out of her way to help on an early departure, and to give friendly service.

This hotel has a lot of potential for those seeking a recreational vacation in the Western Maryland area, particularly cyclist. There is easy Western Maryland Rail Trail access, behind the restaurant across the street. In addition the owner has a pleasing quirky way of decorating the grounds. For the aforementioned reasons I give this motel a rating of two. We... More

Hello! Thank you very much for your review and some positivity in it! Yes, the room you have got we are still working on. It is a non smoking room though. The guest before you stayed in the room and cut/damaged our furniture so the sofa is a must to replace - you are right! We are waiting for the... More
