We stayed at the Tidewater after being there several years ago. We had tickets to the concert at the Avalon Theater across the street so the Tidewater is really convenient. The Tidewater is a well maintained historic inn with ample parking on site and a bar/restaurant. The bar area is small and typically too crowded to get a seat. That... More

Thank you for taking the time to give feedback on the Inn and its' beautiful surroundings. I am glad you enjoyed your stay and it was peaceful. The area is gearing up for the season and it will be very busy shortly with festivals and artists events. We look forward to your next visit and please request a room with... More

We really enjoyed the Tidewater Inn. Always wanted to stay there during Waterfowl Festival but never any luck as it books fast. We stayed one night, and everyone from the front desk people to the waitress at breakfast were great. It is older so dont expect huge rooms like you get at newer hotels today, but they are very comfortable... More

Thank you for the wonderful feedback on our boutique hotel. It is a great place for wandering around town with all the shops, boutiques and restaurants. We look forward to seeing you in two weeks. Spring will be in full swing and the fresh Maryland Blue Crabs are in season. More

I recently surprised my wife with a short two day getaway. We stayed overnight and on a Sunday and Monday. It was a beautiful building as we pulled up front to check-in. The lobby was nice and quiet. Check-in was a nice experience. We asked if it would be possible to be upgraded to one of the more newly renovated... More

Llightning fast check-in and extremely courteous desk personnel. The lobby and adjoining rooms are gorgeous and that winding stairs! It's right in the middle of everything. We walked everywhere after checking in and parking the car.The room was clean and comfortable.

Thank you for the feedback and especially on our lemon fresh water in the lobby and the lobster tempura. We hope you come back soon as Easton is very active with fun events. Plus summer is great time to enjoy the Terrace and all the activities. More

We stayed at the tidewater after seeing a show at the avalon theater across the street. The rooms were great, the restaurant tasty and the staff very friendly. Try the lobster tempura. The lemon water was a nice hydrator after a night out. We were even serrenaded by a bag piper right outside the window. He was playing for the... More

Thank you for you lovely feedback! Easton is a great little town with so many things to offer from boutique shopping, great art galleries and of course the restaurants. The town will really become busy with festivals and of course our favorite the farmers' market which is two blocks away. We have package online just for that and they offer... More

My wife and I decided to do a 3 day get away. We decided to say at the Tidewater Inn due its proximity to home, the great reviews it has received and our love of historic hotels. Upon arriving we were told the room we reserved (a king deluxe) had issues and we were to be put into a standard... More

Thank you for your feedback. This is very important to have our guests let us know when their needs are not met or exceeded. We have done a complete overhaul on our system in the last year and our guests can control the temperature in all the rooms. It was unfortunate that our maintenance team did not respond quickly or... The Tidewater Inn has always been a beautiful hotel; but, reprevious owners had let it fall into a sad hotel. The current owner, Carl Freeman Company, have revamped with the hotel and restaurant areas. The beds are inviting with crisp white linens. The staff tries to take care of any request ... even a mimosa before breakfast when the bar... More

Thank you for sharing such wonderful feedback. We are slowly but surely working on improvements. We will be working on our European bathrooms next. Ours was worse than a typical chain hotel room and ridiculous for the price. It was clearly carved out what used to be a larger room. It was awkwardly shaped and barely large enough for the double bed. The bathroom was the smallest I have ever seen: there was no tub, it was hard to maneuver around the door and... More

I greatly appreciate you feedback. We do have challenges with our rooms and market ourselves as a "European Boutique" hotel since we were built in 1949 as a hotel. Each one of our rooms are different in size and decor and in the 40's bathrooms were not built very large. Although, we have an action plan to improve our bathrooms... More

This is a beautiful, historic hotel that has been modernized. Our room was perfect for my son and me. The beds were very comfortable with new linens, plenty of room with two baths(new linens) and two closets. The staff is very pleasant and were helpful in finding a small cocktail table for us, handling luggage, etc. The restaurant is excellent,... More

As a resident of Salisbury, I have had little reason to spend the night in Easton. That changed in January when I attended a Doncaster preview meeting with 20+ consultants throughout our District. The accommodations were excellent and every one was so friendly and helpful. There are many exceptional restaurants in the area but because of the "lightly falling snow"... More
