What a lovely dinner! Sandy took such good care of us! The mushroom soup was "to die for," as were the crepe starter. Our main courses: boneless short ribs, Coq au Vin, Pork Piccata, and crab strudel, were all amazing! And apple crisp was terrific! The wine list was reasonably priced and good quality. All in all, a fantastic dinner!

First of all, the breakfast at Deer Park Inn included the best pancakes of my life. You can't beat having a French chef prepare your meals! We also had an absolutely delicious dinner when we dined at their restaurant. They were also very accommodating when we wanted to relax on their lawn chairs with a glass of wine, and they... More

We went to the Deer Park Inn on a suggestion and we are so glad we did! It was Bastille Day so they had a special menu that was 4 courses. Each course was amazing! There was an appetizer, salad, entree, and dessert included for just over $50 pp, which we felt was a great value. The portions were huge... More

My husband and I just returned from a spur of the moment Motorcycle trip to The Deer Park Inn. We try to make it there every year. Last year we were unable to visit because we were disappointedly rained out. I realize how how much I missed it as soon as I arrived. Sandy was there to greet us with... More

We stopped to see the Inn on a whim last summer, and were sufficiently intrigued to make a reservation for dinner upon our next visit to the area. It's lovely, a *special* place with everything that implies. If you want a fast burger-and-fries combo, this is not the place for you. If you want to enjoy a gracious evening with... More

Upon entering the Inn, I was in awe and felt I was transported to another time. It was amazing to find out that all the furniture is original to the house and period. The Inn owners, Pascal and Sandy, provided great service from introducing me to my room to an unforgettable dinning experience. My room was very spacious and, once... More

My husband and I just spent two wonderful nights at the Deer Park Inn Bed and Breakfast. We were greeted upon our arrival by Sandy, the owner, and felt immediately at home. Her warm personality and hospitality were exceptional! We opted to have dinner there our first night. We enjoyed a yellow and red tomato salad, hand made crab and... More

As a restaurant owner myself, I appreciated the friendly, personal service we received when staying and dining at the Deer Park Inn. Sandy is a lovely hostess and the food was top notch! A real treat in our area of MD and WV! I appreciate the late 1880's original decor and many folks (including presidents) came there to retreat and... More

Six of us agreed that our meals were superb. From Coq au Vin to Duck Confit - beautifully presented & perfectly prepared. On a prior visit I had Skate in butter w/ garlic, capers & lemon. If it's on the menu when u go be sure to try it. Out of this world! The Inn may be s little out... More

First, Sandy the owner told me we had to book at leat two days because it was a long weekend. I uccepted. I shouldn't have. The place is dark, on the creepy side. The owner does not turn on the lights so the atmosphere is gloomy. I asked for heat, it was 57 degrees, and she refused to turn on... More
