We stayed in a pet free new cabin with full bathrooms and amenities and it was clean and very nice. Didn't have to bring linens or toilet paper and paper towels. they provide all of that and garbage bags. They supply coffee maker with reusable filter, toaster, dishes, pots/pans, dishwasher, full size fridge and electric stove. Nice porch on the... More

We stayed here for a week to visit DC. Sites are a little tight, but you will be visiting the city most of the time. Do not miss the 4 o'clock orientation about getting around. We used the Metro and the the Circulator, which saved us money instead of a Hop On and Hop off bus. We did the night... More

This was a beautiful campground in the midst of urban metropolis'. The campground was at capacity but we were in town for a wedding at UofM. The campground was very clean and had many amenities. The mini golf looked beautiful and inviting as well as the pool. We would definitely return just to be able to take advantage of all... More

This is the most professionally run, secure, friendliest campground l have ever encountered. It has many features and attractions like swimming pools and hot tub, cafe, etc which in itself makes it a very pleasant stay in Washington. They even have a daily scheduled talk for ewcomers on what and how to tour the sites of Washington which was very... More

This campground was great! It was the first time back in DC since I was 3 years old, so it made a very lasting impression on me. The park itself was very large, so there was a lot of places to bike, walk, and explore. It offered a lot of fun activities and things to do throughout each day. The... More

Some people may think the campground is a little pricey but this park really offers a lot that you don' t get at others. We hadn't been to DC in many years and really wasn't familiar with how to get around the Metro. When we checked in, they told us they offer an orientation for new visitors on how to... More

Loved it! Can't imagine any place better for touring DC! Barb is a gem! Great shaded site! Never had to leave it thanks to buses picking us up! Enjoyed breakfast in the cafe. What more can I say? If you're coming to DC in an RV, this is the place!

This was a good place to stay. They are friendly people and helped in any way. It's location was on the busy side. Located right off the highway so there was noise from traffic and road construction. For travels to DC, there were several options for bus tours that pick up from the RV park. Overall it was enjoyable and... More

My family stayed at Cherry Hill Park Campground in August because we were looking for a campground conveniently located to Washington, DC. We took the night tour leaving and returning from the campground. We received information from the staff on how best to travel to DC, we used the Metro Rail which worked for our day trips to DC. The... More

Hi, Thanks very much for your feedback. We're glad you found both the direct tours and the Metro convenient - we try to ensure that everyone has an easy way to tour the nation's capital. While our tractor rides aren't nearly fast enough to get anyone to DC, we're glad you enjoyed a little bit of a slow-paced hay ride... More

The staff were very helpful and the whole park seemed geared toward giving us the best tourism experience possible. They were all prepared with Metro information, parking etc. They even host an information session at 4PM everyday to help with any questions about your itinerary . The park itself was packed with things to do--2 pools, hot tub, mini golf,... More
