Very good folks who run this place. We were on our 53rd International Girl Scoot reunion and used this place because it was close to Washington DC. However traffic was really terrible and it took mega time to get to the Washington sites. We had our own transport via bus. It appears other groups did the same thing. The breakfast...

I have stayed here many, many times for 4-H trips. This is the perfect facility for a youth group, school trip, or even a family wanting to visit D.C.. The "Clover Cafe" offers plenty of food for a very reasonable price. Staff is helpful and oriented toward service. There is a bus stop in front of the Center and two...

I have been to the 4H Center twice for National Science Bowl.I cannot comment on pricing, as I have no idea (the DOE paid). The rooms are clean, comfortable dorm style rooms that are perfect for retreats. The cafeteria did a wonderful job of providing food for 500+ people, and the food was very tasty ( highly recommend the lemon...

I accompanied my son's junior high school for a trip to Washington, DC; we had approximately 80 students & 17 adults on this trip. We stayed 4 nights here while we took in the sights in DC throughout the week. The room I was in had bunk beds, so 4 can sleep in a room in their own bed, and...

I was here with a group of about 50 students for a weekend. The staff was great. The rooms were nice and the food was good. The overnight hall monitors were very nice and helpful. The rec room in the basement is great for the kids.

A very clean, quiet, handy, affordable place to stay while visiting DC. A dining hall is on the campus. Rooms are not fancy but very nice. Catch the bus to the metro and before you know it, you are at UnionStation. Buya smart card. Use it for the bus and the metro. Hint : if your card has value on...

I would absolutely stay here again for the 3rd time if an event I wish to attend were housed here. Friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, comfortable common areas, hot water, working plumbing and air conditioning, easy and efficient wifi connection in room and I believe common areas, beautifully maintained yards and gardens. Perhaps because I benefited from a room...

For a DC hotel price (high), you get bunk beds, a small TV and lousy food. What really burns me up is the lack of food options within walking distance. The place is a madhouse with many other groups going here and there.

Spent 7 days here for a 4-H CWF conference. The rooms were a nice size and the water in the shower was always hot. The front staff were nice and helpful. I loved the charm that the building itself had. It is an older building with lots of history. The grounds were maintained well. One nice thing is that the...

I have stayed at the 4-H center easily a dozen times over the past ten years. I have been both as a high school student in the dorms (NYLC, 4-H, and GN) as well as an adult chaperone (staying in the hotel side of things). Every time I go I find they are accommodating, clean, and well worth the stay....
