The location of this property is perfect for a visit to Chesapeake City, a gem of a town we''re glad we discovered before going father south into the Eastern Shore. The owner's son, Michael, was personable and helpful and filled us in on the history of the house and the derivation of the Blue Max name. The front porch is a pleasant place for reading or just relaxing. Our room was fine, and the breakfasts (two days) were well above average compared to the more than a hundred B&Bs we've stayed in since the mid-1980s. We recommend the Blue Max highly.

Spent a night, was ok, nothing special. Not real friendly staff. Coffee not hot from thermos in the morning. Needed to ask for a warm up in microwave. Inn keeper said it was made earlier in morning, wa within breakfast hours. No coffee available in afternoon in lobby only hot water for tea. Bed comfortable, room clean and cozy for an October night.

Spent a night at this beautiful B & B. The house was amazing, the room was very clean and the bed was so comfortable. The breakfast was served on their sun porch and each course was delicious. Would definitely return.
