We booked a suite for an overnight getaway. It was a stretch to call it a suite, as it was one room, with space for a small table. Agree with those who say this doesn’t have the friendliness of staff or homey feel to other bed and breakfasts we’ve stayed in. The paper bag of arrival snacks was pretty minimum. For the cost of the room, a $10 bottle of wine could have easily been included. No tea or coffee after hours was available. Breakfast was average. Interesting town to walk around, even though not much was open at the time. Might come back to the area, but we were not impressed enough that we would return to this inn.

Great view of the water and excellent breakfast. Breakfast is much more than a typical complimentary motel breakfast. The property is located within walking distance from many restaurants and shops. Added up for a nice, relaxing getaway.

Only stayed one night and it was great. The Inn is super clean, the view of the water was fantastic. Got to see a couple of huge cargo ships go by, as well as many sail boats and pleasure craft. In the morning breakfast was served outside on our balcony. I do intent to come back and will stay a few days. Chesapeake City appears to be a really nice little town. Highly recommend.

This b&b faces the only inn that faced the C&D Canal. This last minute getaway was just what we needed in this clean and charming inn. Great views of the water and within walking distance to all the shops in Chesapeake City.
