A hotel with small town charm and a great view of the ocean just outside our window. Conveniently located to all the shops and restaurants on the beach. A friendly staff and the rooms were very clean. Beds were very comfortable.

Yes, it needs some updating, but the staff was very friendly and helpful. The fitness center is what you'd expect in a hotel. If it was a nice day, I would have run outside, but the rain kept me indoors.

This hotel is definitely not what I expected. There is no beach. I would never call it a resort. The rooms need renovating. Having a Waterfront Room with a balcony (more costly) is deceiving. The hotel is perpendicular to the water, so your balcony allows you to see the water, but it is not waterfront! In fact, the balcony is...

My husband and I checked into this hotel on Christmas Eve. Peter was the desk clerk and he was very personable. We used the hotel glasses to enjoy some wine before going to bed. On Christmas morning, we left to spend the day with family in Chesapeake Beach. We returned that night and neither of us could get our room...

This could be a really nice place. It is on a beautiful piece of property. This hotel really needs to do some renovations. The rooms are dated and have a very musty smell. The Staff was nice enough. Nobody went out of their way...the restaurant was so-so. I will say the brunch was good! We were only there for one...

We recently had a family reunion at Chesapeake Beach Resort. We had over 25 people in attendance (including a few who just came for a group family dinner at the hotel one night). Most of the guests stayed in rooms at the resort for three nights (Thursday, Friday, Saturday) and left for their homes across the county on Sunday morning...

Stopped here for two nights en route a family funeral. The resort is sort of down-at-heel Trump-ish but our room was nice, clean and comfortable. As one who is partially disabled I requested a room near the elevators and they were glad to accommodate my needs. The food at the Rod and Reel is pretty dreadful as I had been...

Was at a wedding on the shore and realized it would be fun to spend the night there rather than I trudge all the way back to DC. The hotel is off the road and has the "feel" of a small resort. The room was very nice with a beautiful view of the Bay. The complementary continental breakfast was fine...

We were going to a wedding up the road at the Herrington on the Beach. The whole area is gorgeous -- right on the bay, water views, the whole deal. The hotel however is more like an old school Motel 6 than any resort or spa. The room was nice enough. We'd paid the small upgrade for a room with...

We decided to get away for a night to the Bay Area in Md so we booked a room at this hotel. We were never here before, so we didn't know what to expect. When arriving, the desk staff picked a room that had a wonderful view of the bay and marina area. It was so relaxing or sit on...
