The property is newer and well maintained. Morgan greeted us upon arrival and was very courteous. The rooms were well kept and clean. It had a working desk, Kuerig coffee maker, and a microwave. The beds were comfortable and had a great nights sleep. Due to Covid-19 the buffet was closed, however they did provide breakfast bags to go. You could chose your items such as yogurt, danishes, breakfast sandwiches, fruit, and juices. The property is close to many fast food restaurants and Walmart. Go a couple blocks off the main strip for sit down restaurants. Also the Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad museum is close by. However, when venturing off the strip, be careful of certain areas at night. I would stay here again.

Pros: Newer hotel with large, modern and quiet guest rooms, comfortable bed, within walking distance of stores, short drive from charming Cambridge, an hour to Ocean City. Cons: Fridge placed far from living space. Notes: Due to the COVID19 pandemic, I cannot comment on breakfast and the pool because both were unavailable. This is one of those very rare properties that's difficult to fault. Probably having been constructed in the last few years, everything looked new and functioned properly. My king bed room had a lot of space and even a comfortable chair & ottoman for watching television. The only quirk was the refrigerator placed very close to the front door and away from where I spent all my time (i.e. not near the front door). Despite being located close to the elevator (the building conveniently features one at each end), I didn't hear any noises in the hall over a two-day period - this is one of the quietest hotels I've stayed at in a long time. I appreciated the location. Within walking distance are a few strip malls, convenience stores, and fast food restaurants. The incredibly cool town of Cambridge is a short five-minute drive from the parking lot; Ocean City is about an hour if there's no traffic to be encountered. The former was an unexpected surprise; the latter was better than I had expected. It makes this an appealing alternative to much higher-priced hotels on the beach. With very little negative to report, I will definitely return here next time I'm in the area.

Location? Highly convenient. Room size and decor? Nice. Lobby has a fireplace and the breakfast is good. Pool, hot tub, work out area - nice. However, I cannot give a good rating to a place where I did not get a good night’s sleep. The room was freezing cold when I arrived and it took me a while to warm it up. The TV remote did not work, although they gave me a working replacement promptly. The bed was rock hard-giving my joints a work out. So I had a real hard time falling asleep without multiple pillow paddings. Then neighbors arrived at 3 AM and loud talking and banging of doors woke me up. Nope, not going back.

I will honestly say this is the nicest Holiday Inn Express I have ever stayed in. Beautiful modern, clean, upgraded room and common areas, very well designed room w comfortable bed and good lighting and outlets for charging etc. Nicely lit sink area, modern shower stall with adjustable shower head. Very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended this hotel.

We had a very quiet room ( 421) at this location ( no road noise, away from the ice machine, near an elevator that was not noisy). All of the staff was kind, professional and welcoming, and the room was clean. However, the hotel does need some updating-it is pretty dowdy in its presentation, with rug tiles that were frayed, paint that was chipping. Our main concern was the shower. It was large, for sure, but had a slippery floor surface . The shower door was oddly constructed, with sliding doors that ran on a track only on one side. The inner door moved in and out of the shower rather than remaining fixed in a track. There are no grab bars or other fixtures in the shower or outside of it, so when the door is slid open and the door swings into the shower, there is a problem for safely exiting, especially with the slippery floor. The hotel kindly found for us a small rubber bath mat to help with the slippery surface. However, the floor area was so large, the mat so small, that unless you stood directly under the water ( which is from a fixture that is placed high above anyone's reach and could not be adjusted for flow or angle), you were back to slipping on the floor. Breakfast included a variety of items, including yogurt, oatmeal, fresh fruit. Coffee was weak, with no flavor whatsoever. The eggs were typical for these kinds of buffets- plastic, lukewarm and salty. Breads were not fresh on the Thurs-Sunday time we were there. This hotel is a good place to stop if all you need is a clean room with a fairly comfortable bed. The staff is friendly, the location is convenient. Price is bit much for what you get.
