We are Frederick residents and stayed here as part of a romantic Valentine's Day celebration. We felt as though we had stepped back a hundred plus years in time into a beautiful mansion! Pat and Kirk had taken care of every detail, from room decor to a delicious breakfast. We felt as though our brains had been reset in this interesting out-of-the-ordinary escape and would highly recommend a stay at the Frederick Inn to any couple!

Any time we can help someone to "reset their brain", then we consider it a job well done.

Pat and Kirk were the most marvelous hosts would one could ever hope to experience. The house itself is lovingly restored. The breakfast wonderful. But most striking is the outgoing friendliness of the host and hostess. They went way out of their way to make our stay and experience as good as it could possibly be.

The 2 of us had a midweek stay as we visited Frederick and biked on the C&O Canal towpath. The accommodations were superb, comfortable bed and other furniture, plenty of electrical outlets, and excellent climate control. The decor and the furnishings are very pleasing to me. Professionally decorated and quality materials selected. Everything works as it should. The house is remarkable, great finishes and detailed woodwork. Our 3 breakfasts were excellent with great variety, great taste, and plenty of caloric value. A guest refrigerator with water and soft drinks as well as a Kcup coffee maker are available. The hosts are wonderful folks who care about guests comfort and have great knowledge about the general area which they willingly share. Excellent restaurant suggestions. We felt like some much more than customers or clients, they were enthusiastic about our comfort and interests throughout our stay. Buckeystown is quiet and charming to see, Frederick is a marvelous town with plenty of variety, just a short drive away. We will surely be visiting again and will seek to book at Frederick Inn.

We stayed her last night along with another couple, our "travel buddies". We had come to Frederick, MD to attend the Russian Ballet product of Swan Lake at the Weinberg Theater, and thought it would be nice to spend the night instead of driving back to Harford County after the show. I think we enjoyed our stay as much as we enjoyed the ballet (which was awesome!) Our host and hostess were a delight, and the B&B looked newly redone in a mixture of old world and French revival elegance. My husband and I were in Suite Three, which we think was Best in the House (we peeked into the other rooms before the rest of the guests arrived; it was a full house.) BTW, although it was full, you'd never know it. Very quiet. Breakfast was delicious (although we always expect this high quality at B&Bs, and are rarely disappointed.) Our hostess even catered to a special request (hot chocolate, which was not on the menu, but it was a cold morning.) We're now looking for an excuse to go back, perhaps spring or summer when we could enjoy the garden.

Thanks. Maybe we should make the hot chocolate a regular offering?!

This B&B is best for so many reasons. It's beautifully furnished with everything just so. We thought it was clean and open yet very comfy. Little details like the alarm clock that included an outlet to charge your cell phone made our stay sooo easy. The location is off the beaten path which is what we wanted. We can't say enough about the Innkeepers, Pat and Kirk who were extremely gracious. Pat's breakfasts were delicious and so lovingly prepared. She even accommodated my husband's need for a gluten-free meal. Kirk offered wonderful stories as we inquired about the history of the area. Our weekend stay could not have been better thanks to finding this charming Inn. We hope to return.
