My husband & I recently stayed at the Inn and had a Fantastic Time! First we were Greeted with a Warm Welcome from Paul & John at the Front Desk! It was so refreshing to see them again! Our Room was so gorgeous and the Amenities are Outstanding! We had a lovely bottle of Bubbly waiting for us, what a sweet surprise by their Team! The Welcome Note was Hand written and we felt at Home Again! Our beautiful room was facing the Ocean and what a Gorgeous View. We had cocktails and snack in the Pub, which is always fun and a warm and outstanding Dinner on the Deck at Chapman Cottage, WOW! What Service, again what a warm and welcoming staff. During these uncertain times, we just wanted to get away and we felt so very safe and at home at The York Harbor Inn! Greg stopped by to say hi too, another great Manager. I told my husband, I just want to Work with these people, they are so great! What a Fabulous Team of Managers! We have been visiting the Inn for many years and it just keeps getting better each time, not sure how that is possible! It's so refreshing to see a property that not only cares about their guests but their employees too! We can't wait to go back!!! Thank you again for another Warm & Comfortable Stay at your Lovely Inn! Randy & Kim Labnon

We spent three nights at the inn. Our room was very convenient for us, recommended by Liam and Katy....my husband has a bit of a hard time walking and though we would have loved the water view, my husband would not have liked the third floor walk-up. The room was very clean and comfortable. We lit the fire log on our last night and it was delightful!! We look forward to visiting here again!!!

We recently stayed at the York Harbor Inn. We actually stayed at the Inn two weekends - either end of a trip to Bar Harbor. For us this was a perfect stopping off point. The Inn is lovely. We were in the Harbor Hill building both weekends. The staff is truly the best part of the York Harbor Inn. Our room for the first weekend was suite 408. We loved having the large seating area to enjoy reading, playing a game, looking out the window to the beach across the street or watching a movie. The bathroom has a jacuzzi tub big enough for two. On our way back we stayed in a traditional Ocean View King Room which was lovely as well. We ate several meals at the Inn. First is the grab and go included breakfast. Cork makes this a great morning experience and the food choices are plentiful. Breakfast starts with breakfast sandwiches – and you can add fruit, granola, yogurt, pastries and of course juice and coffee. This a wonderful addition – COVID 19 shut the normal buffet included breakfast and this was a great substitution. Necessity is the mother of invention. The Downeaster Lobster Pizza is one of our very favorite meals – ALWAYS get this at the Ship’s Pub and we have never been disappointed. We also enjoyed the salads and chowder here. We ate both inside the Ship’s Pub and outside at the new dining area in front of the Harbor Crest. Faith was our waitress and did an outstanding job. Dinner at the Chapman cottage is always a treat as well. The atmosphere is great, the food outstanding and for a us a perfect evening. Reilly was our waitress, and she was professional and charming. Unfortunately, another guest was extremely rude to her but she handled it with amazing grace. Love the idea to buy the kitchen a round on the menu. Just ask and for $10 you can buy beers for the talented kitchen staff. Management at the inn is excellent. Paul and Liam were professional, friendly and always willing to help. They have a great team. We’ve been coming to the inn for over twenty years and it keeps getting better. Thank You!

The Inn itself is very old. Ok for a night but its very noisy, you hear guests coming and going all day and night. Not much they can do about it - just beware. The rooms are clean. The staff is friendly.

A great restaurant. Open fire and music makes a pleasant atmosphere for a meal. A good choice on the menu, the specials were great. Our waitress was excellent, fun and managed our jovial group. Definitely a place for a good meal.
