We are local to the area and go tonYHI often. Dining upstairs is consistently delicious! Bar area has specials during the colder months as well as mid afternoon drink specials. Live music upstairs On Friday nights. They also have a Lovely warm fireplace.

We have been to this inn many times since 2006, most of the visits have been great. We like Harbor Crest, the pet friendly inn, we brought our dogs once and and stayed twice without them. Our recent stay was in room 501, nice room with a gas fireplace, 1st floor. I requested the romance package, pink roses, champagne, glasses and chocolate which my hubby loves. Paul delivered. Paul is the guest relations man. He is so accommodating. We love him. It's great going back and the staff remembers us, we reserve the table by the fireplace. York Harbor Inn is our go to inn. Thank you to all for making our stays memorable.

A friend and I went for the Sunday Brunch and the service could not have been any better. We sat at the bar in the comfy cozy lounge area and Beth greeted us with a great big smile. She treated us like family throughout our visit. The drinks on the specialty drink menu looked delicous even though, I stuck with my usual. The Lobster Corn chowder was absolutely delicious, full of sweet lobster meat and the Seafood Ravioli was to die for, so scrumptious and hands down the best I have ever had, again, the chef was not stingy with the portions of fresh lobster, scallops and large shrimp. The mornay sauce was perfect. The hostess (so sorry I can't remember her name) graciously took the time out of her busy day for a tour of the restaurants and banquet space. Hospitality at it's best. Thank you Beth for bringing a smile to face with many laughs.

Stay away from Room 307 in Harbor Cliffs building. There is no one to help with luggage. There are several flights of stairs, one flight a narrow spiral staircase. The bathtub in the room is difficult to use and scary to get in and out of. If you fall down the stairs, there is no one to help you and there will be no compensation for your fall. The ocean view is definitely not worth the aggravation. One good thing, the room was clean. We will never advise anyone to stay at this inn.

Had a night here, stayed in the Yorkshire Inn, ate at the restaurant and enjoyed drinks at the bar. Breakfast that was included was amazing. We really enjoyed walking the cliff walk, the restaurant and bar. Staff were warm and welcoming, a truly enjoyable Valentines celebration ♥️
