The first thing you will notice approaching the Snow Squall Inn is the beautiful landscape, just breathtaking, clearly someone has a green thumb! We were met at the back door by Paul the innkeeper, who was very helpful suggesting sightseeing tips as well as dinner suggestions. The room although on the small side was very clean and cute. Yoga in... More

Paul and Melanie are the wonderful hosts of this B and B conveniently located in Mid Coast Maine. Wiscasset is known as the prettiest village in Maine, and is a short walk from the Snow Squall. Boothbay Harbor is a 15-20 minute drive, and offers sightseeing trips by boat, great seafood, and the scenery of a classic Maine harbor side... More

The Snow Squall is a lovely B&B with the most beautiful grounds. Paul, one of the owners, is the gardener and chef. There are numerous hanging baskets and hayracks on the property. We stayed in the unit that had 2 bedrooms, each with a king and one and a half baths. It was perfect for us. Breakfast is served between... More

My husband and I, and our two children stayed for 3 nights. We wished it could have been longer. From the amazing gardens, scrumptious breakfasts and home from home rooms, it was truly a wonderful stay. Mel and Paul are great hosts, where every detail is taken care off. The location is perfect for exploring and we will be back... More

We spent two nights at Snow Squall Inn at the end of April and had a wonderful time in the White Falcon room which had an incredibly comfortable king size bed, private bath and a fireplace which we enjoyed as we fell asleep. The white robes were a nice touch too. Breakfast with Paul and Melanie was delicious - pancakes... More

What a beautiful home and B&B Paul has. He was immediately welcoming and so laid back that you relax as soon as you walk in the door. We would have loved longer to enjoy the building itself but thoroughly enjoyed the one night we spent here. The building shoulders a main road but we didn't hear any road noise and... More

We had a wonderful two night stay in Mel and Paul's beautiful home. What a gorgeous place. The breakfasts, in particular Paul's eggs benedict, were superb. The decor throughout is so tasteful and yet comfortable, in particular the huge bed. Great hosts too, very helpful and welcoming.

This was our 2nd stay at the Snow Squall. It has only gotten better. Paul and Mel are wonderful hosts. I have been traveling for 5 days and the 3rd was a charm. First good night sleep I have had in a long time. Since we were there last they added a yoga studio and coffee or tea 24/7. Paul... More

The Snow Squall Inn is in a great location for visiting this part of the Maine Coast. Easy drives to the shipyard and the Coastal Gardens. Paul and Melanie were gracious hosts. All the rooms are named after famous clipper ships. We stayed in the Flying Eagle room on the second floor, up a narrow and rather steep flight of... More
