We stayed here for a wedding and honestly had the best stay! Everyone was beyond friendly. Breakfast was always great with many options. The woman in charge of that area was always so friendly and kept the area so clean. The cleaning ladies were always saying hi to us, telling us to have a good day. Everyone was great to talk to. The room was clean and comfortable. We will absolutely come back and stay here.

This hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We stayed in the family suite which had more than enough room. We were two hours early for check in but the very nice employee at the front desk asked my cell phone number and said she would call us immediately after the room was cleaned. We received a call in approximately 30 minutes and were able to check in early.

Accommodation beyond expectation. We arrived from Canada as a 12u softball team. We were all greeted with the same pleasant exposure. Within 10 minutes of checking in the front desk called to ensure the room was up to standard, great customer service. We had a team bbq planned for the evening but Mother Nature didn’t cooperate and we were met with sever thundershowers. The staff graciously allowed us to temporarily set up our feeding point under the awning of the main entrance. I can’t stress how professional yet “down home” this hotel is, highly recommend to anyone passing through or for any type of visit. A+++++

Check in was quick and Trudy offered me a complimentary snack and drink. My room was decent but the elevator was right outside my door so it got noisy at times. They don't do daily house keeping but the process in place to have the trash/recycling bins emptied and clean towels worked well. Just left them outside my door and the bins were empty and clean and the clean towels were neatly folded and in a tied up plastic bag. The wifi was spotty and the bandwidth was really poor at times, it was unsecured but I was given a code but no instructions on where to find and log into a more secure wifi. The pool and hot tub were ok except tor a really strong almost overpowering chlorine smell. The exercise room was small and the few pieces of equipment were kind of dirty. The include breakfast was ok too.

Thank you for taking the time to complete this detailed review. We apologize for the trouble with the WIFI during your stay this fall, the issue has since been resolved. In the future, please do not hesitate to request a quiet location in the hotel. We are happy to accommodate requests and can work to assign a room in a low traffic area. We greatly appreciate your business and look forward to your next visit.

I’ve stayed here before and it was very quiet, but not this time. Some college basketball team or teams were staying here and were up all night laughing, yelling, and slamming doors. I didn’t bother complaining because I didn’t want to change rooms, and they seemed to be on each floor anyway. I also grabbed one of the last parking spots, but when I went out to get something to eat someone took my spot and I had to make my own spot along an island. There was a big tour bus that took up several spots which didn’t help.
With the negatives out of the way, I must say I do have some positive things to say. The staff was extremely polite and welcoming, from check in to check out to the woman running the breakfast they all provided service with a genuine smile. The property was well maintained and everything was clean. The walkways were well salted which was good because things would have been very icy. The free breakfast is your standard continental breakfast found at chain hotels including the make your own waffles.
Overall I would still probably stay here again, there really aren’t that many options in the area- but I guess I was just really disappointed at how much it cost all to have a terrible night’s sleep.

I am writing this review about a very upsetting situation we had at this hotel in Wilton Me. We reserved and checked into a king room for 2 adults. When I made the reservation I put in the comments section we needed a first-floor room near an outside door because I have difficulty walking long distances. We drove down to the door that was closest to the room only to find that I had to climb a 5- inch curb to get from the parking lot to the sidewalk and then another stair to navigate a bit farther down the sidewalk. I couldn't enter the hotel this way. The other option was to enter the lobby and walk down a long hallway to the room which was also not possible for me.
When my sister went to the desk to tell the clerk she simply stated they had no room types like ours. She offered no other options and no refund and no empathy at all. She was a young woman, tall medium build, and brown hair. I wish we had gotten her name.
A little way down the road we thought to check the Choice App and see if it was true there were no rooms available. There were lots of rooms open and different types of rooms including a handicapped accessible room. We could not understand why we were treated this way. I was very upset about being discriminated against. It is hard enough to be a handicapped person in this world without being treated like this. We are Choice Platinum members and the clerk knew this. What kind of a hotel does not try to make things right for a guest especially when I had outlined my issues with walking when I made the reservation?

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I would like to assure you, we do our best to accommodate all guest requests. We never want anyone to leave feeling as though their needs were not met. Our handicap accessible rooms are located at the end of the hall on each floor, near the stairwells and exits. It sounds as though your room was located in the same area as the one on first floor. It is very likely there were no other kings available as the desk clerk stated. They are our most popular room. We may have been able to move you to another room type if you had requested but it is quite possible the ones close to the elevator were already occupied. I apologize if these things were not explained clearly to you and I encourage you to contact me directly at the hotel so we can discuss this further. Again, we apologize for your disappointment and I would appreciate the opportunity to speak directly with you.

I usually stay here when passing through the area and have had no problems previously.
Whats bothering me is when i booked my non refundable stay nothing was said about being in the middle of a major remodel and that the elevator was out of commission and that I would also have to haul my bags up two flights and down the far end of the hallway.
If i had been made aware i would have booked elsewhere and adjusted my plans.
Room was mice but the price was high for all the added hassle experienced.

Thank you for taking the time to complete this response. Please allow me to apologize on behalf of the staff for your disappointment regarding the renovation process. We are very excited to have a new hotel to share with everyone but there are some inconveniences associated with it and you seem to have stayed during the biggest disruption. I highly recommend this gem of a hotel seemingly in the middle of nowhere. It features a full range of amenities, including a fine and friendly staff who will go the distance to meet your needs. I'm certain it would be even better without the Covid restrictions on full complimentary breakfast, but muffin and fruit in a bag and good coffee does suffice. It has a nice workout room and pool, and it is very clean everywhere. My room was so comfortable and roomy, and the bed very comfortable. Good WIFI . I was able to adjust my room temp with ease, Lots of outlets, excellent lighting. Wish the hot tub was fixed, though...

The hotel staff were very nice! They made me feel welcomed and made sure everything was up to my standards. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was even included! A muffin and fruit due to covid, however, still very thoughtful and the muffin was really delicious! It seemed homemade and good quality. This was a nice place to stay during a snowboarding trip in Maine!

Had a Queen room suite that worked out well.
Enjoyed the pool with my daughter. My better half had to stay in the room with the dog as you can't leave animals in the room unattended but that makes sense to me so no big deal.
LIke that they had places on either side of the hotel to take Jackson out so he could get some exercise after riding in the truck most of the day.
Room was clean, beds and pillows were very comfortable. All in all a good stay and I will definitely stay here again if in the area.
