We arrived tired at 9 pm and ready to relax in a clean, comfortable room and that is exactly what we got. Check in was super easy and the front desk worker was friendly. We had a king bed that was super comfortable. There was also a sofa lounge chair available to sit/lay on. The room was clean and had no odors. There was a microwave/fridge and a coffee bar area. The shower had good pressure and there was shower gel, shampoo and conditioner available in the shower. The sink, counter and mirror are in the bathroom, but there was a full length mirror outside the bathroom which I always appreciate. We got up and had the free breakfast around 9 am the next day. Among the offerings there were scrambled eggs, cheese omelets, sausage links, sausage patties, biscuits and gravy, cereal, muffins, yogurt, toast/bagels, cinnamon rolls and more. I thought the coffee was decent too. Check out was super easy and we were on out way. Someone mentioned that the lobby check in area is in an odd place. The hotel is built on a hill and the lobby is on the second floor. It was not too big of a deal. After checking in, you can park your car in the lot and then access from the parking lot. There is an entrance that leads to an elevator. Just remember to go to the 2nd floor for the lobby/breakfast area and the 1st floor for the parking lot.

I stayed here for a couple of nights. The room itself was a nice size and things worked well, the TV got a lot of channels. The room also had a fridge, and sleep quality was fine. There was an exercise room with machines that had TVs which was cool. I liked the location, it is just off the interstate, and you can walk to some restaurants and supermarket nearby, or walk all the way to downtown or Colby College, if you are so inclined (is about 30 minutes).

Called to book a room for a night away with spouse so we could both enjoy an evening alone after a Christmas party while still being close incase an issue arose and had to leave. Was immediately asked before giving any information if we lived within 30 miles of the location and were told that they do not rent to locals.
Front desk manager was extremely rude from that point on and refused to make a reservation or connect me with the hotel manager or leave a message with them, was told to call back when manager was there.
This policy is blatant discrimination against local residents and I will never stay at another Holiday Inn from this point forward.

Son and I were visiting colleges, since he's a night owl and I'm not the ability to get a suite at a very reasonable rate was fantastic. The suite was extremely spacious with a main room that included a sleeper sofa, comfy chair, and tv area, a kitchenette with a small table and a couple of chairs and a desk area. The bedroom was also big and the bathroom had a massive vanity and full sized tub. While the finishes were not quite as upscale as other higher end hotels, and there was a faint musty odor, you can't beat the space. The bed was comfortable and the shower had plenty of pressure and good hot water. Breakfast was more than adequate with scrambled eggs and sausages, cereal and oatmeal, breads and pastries. There was also some yogurts and whole fresh fruit.
One thing I did find distasteful was that everytime I walked by it seemed like one of the front desk staff was out front of the hotel smoking.

We were in town for a funeral and were looking for accommodations for a few nights. This appeared to be one of the better hotels in the area. Upon our arrival, I was told our room was being upgraded based on the online booking. My wife and I had booked a room with a King bed and were upgraded to a two bedroom suite. My folks and cousin had also booked rooms in the hotel, but were due to arrive the following day. We checked with the management and were allowed to have them stay in our room with us so their reservations were canceled without fees. There was also a pull out sofa in the living room. The breakfast buffet could use a little work, but overall, a great stay.

The room is moldy, smelly. Hotel is dated. The desk clerk demanded that we provide very detail info about our car, and sign/initial five separate areas in the registration form. Maine is not a communist state, and none of the hotels we stayed demanded that.
When asked for some water, the desk clerk said it will cost $1 each. I remided him that this is complimentary for frequent guests. He ultimately provided one even though my wife is with me.

Stayed here for a quick one-night stop. Convenient to get to. Lots of parking. Very friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable beds – we had 2 queen beds. Room spacious. Bathroom large. Fridge worked well. Didn't use coffee maker or microwave. Breakfast was fantastic - lots to choose from, hot & cold. Shampoo & body wash are large containers in the shower. Would stay here again.

The Holiday Inn Express in Waterville was a comfortable stop on our trip home from Canada. The room was great and the breakfast wonderful! Our room looked new and the decor was peaceful and very convenient. There was a lot of counter space in the bathroom and places to store your luggage without the room feeling cramped. There was a desk area to work and usb ports. The bed was really comfortable and we loved the pillows! We didn't use the pool or fitness center, but it had both. The hotel is close to Main street which was great because we went there for a delicious, pub style dinner. The hot breakfast was appreciated. We enjoyed eggs, sausage, juice, yogurt, a bagel and a cinnamon roll. I recommend this hotel!

I booked their two bedroom suite online and was surprised when they called a week before my stay to inform me they were canceling my reservation because they do not allow anyone who lives within 30 miles of the hotel to stay there. I live 29.9 miles from them! I was left scrambling to arrange other accommodations for my weekend. Frustrating that I was even able to book, and that the policy was not listed anywhere on their booking site or in their terms or policies.

Good luck. I called the front desk to ask if they had a directory and I was told to use the on-screen scrolling directory provided by the local cable company. "They change all the time, so we can't really keep up," I was told.
I was looking for CNN and nothing else, so I can't tell you about what the hotel has and doesn't have. You might want to visit the local cable company's website (Time Warner Cable, I think) to see if you can get a listing.
