Traveling north on US 1 and it was getting late. Stopped here- This looked like a $40 motel. Was told the Hampton up the road would be over $200 (lie) and her $82 (no breakfast) would be a good deal. Went ahead and stayed and checked later the Hampton would have been $138. This place was dingy and poorly maintained....

Online pricing not honored upon arrival. Manager stated new owners unable to change or take down website. Not kept up. Not worth $100 a night. Fairly clean. Still smelled of cigarettes even though all rooms are no smoking. Needs lots of repairs and painting. 5 steps down from a motel 6. Bates motelish. A few sketchy long term renters.

Do not expect fancy that's for sure. But the employees of the Yankee were more then accommodating. The rooms are very worn down and have cement floor showers but then again the building is over 100 years old. The first room we were in had no heat or hot water but that was fine we got back late and did...

My bed was pretty comfy, although my friends, that stayed in the room next door, said their's kind of "dipped" in the middle. (ehh they're married- probably used to it!!) For being on a main road there...

We booked based on the price and after reading older TripAdvisor reviews, we weren't sure what to think. But, the new ownership had recently commented on some older reviews that older issues had been addressed and some rooms had been redone. I was pleasantly surprised when we popped into the room and found a simple, clean set up. If there...
