After our friend became ill we had to change our booking at the last minute. We were given a beautiful suite - lounge, kitchen area, bathroom with jacuzzi bath and large bedroom. We also had TWO balconies. Staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating (particular thanks to Rona). We have been here four years in a row and... More

We were passing and decided to drop in for an evening meal so hadn't booked. It was relatively quiet at first. The menu had plenty of choice and all food and drink was locally sourced. I had butternut squash & rosemary soup followed by salmon with crushed leeks and potatoes. The soup was to die for. The lavender bread was... More

From the 1st phone call to the hotel, I felt good about staying here. The staff were so accommodating and friendly on the phone. I was traveling with an elderly relative and needed a room for her that would suit her limited mobility. Her room was spacious, with a lovely balcony and a view of the country side beyond. The... Through my own mistake I accidently booked the wrong date for my stay. The manager could not have been anymore helpful even though I had technically missed my booking he still booked me in for my intended date with no extra charge. On arrival the staff were friendly and helpful. We had dinner in the restaurant which was lovely and... More

From the first phone call I made, right through to our departure, the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. I was travelling with a disabled relative and asked for a suitable room. The room was very spacious with a sliding door on to a shared veranda / decked area overlooking the fields behind. I had a room... More

One hour at this place was more than enough. Disappointed, we left and found other accommodations. Trip Advisor, Expedia, Hotels.com rates this place 3 stars, I'd give it 1.5. My room had creaky floors, thin walls (I could hear every word of the neighbors conversation, and I'm hard of hearing), a shoddy entrance carpet, very dated and well worn bedding... More

I cannot recommend this place enough. Stayed here overnight when visiting St Andrews one weekend. It is not too far out of St Andrews - taxi was £15 each way however I believe there is a bus stop located right outside the inn which would cut costs. This accommodation offers so much - lovely quiet location, HUGE rooms, massive bathroom... More

On arrival, they had reserved us a parking place and made us very very welcome. The Inn is just 5 mies from St Andrews so in a great location and without the high prices seen in the town. Our room was in the old blacksmith's cottages was clean but quite basic. It was not really what we had expected as... More

Myself and my partner are staying here just now and I have to say it's a great find. Fabulous view from our room which opens onto a large veranda, lovely comfortable bed, spacious clean room and friendly accommodating service. Catered well for our gluten free requests at breakfast also! Would definitely recommend to friends and family and would stay here... More
