I stayed in Van Buren on my way to New Brunswick. This was the only convenient hotel I could find. For peak summer season, the place was almost empty. the front door had a sign advising customers to go find the front desk person in their apartment. I had to leave very early, so couldn't try the included breakfast. I will give this one a miss next time. It was just a little to creepy. There was a nicer looking place on the other side of the Border in Canada.
This little motel is an excellent choice for basic accommodation in northern Aroostook County. Our room was clean, comfortable, and very quiet. We slept beautifully. Rooms are basic and won’t win any interior design contests. But if you are looking for an affordable place to sleep, you can’t do better.
Stayed two nights it’s not fancy but our room was clean and comfortable !! Breakfast was limited but it’s enough to keep you going till something else comes along. Many thanks to Ed for being so understanding, accommodating, and helpful. Would I stay here again ?? Indeed yes I would !!
We stayed here on our ATV backpack trip. Motel is in need of updating. Rooms are pretty basic and the breakfast in the morning is pretty lacking. Staff told us there would be a restaurant across the street open but is was closed. We had to walk about a mile round trip to a walk up Tasty Freeze. OK place to stay but probably wouldn't do it again.
My boyfriend and I took a weekend long road trip all along Route 1 starting from the midcoast of Maine and ended at Fort Kent. I had chose the Aroostook Hospitality Inn for a quick overnight stay and we're happy that we did! We didn't even have to pull off of a side road to reach the Inn, it's directly off of Route 1! The room is quite spacious for two people, the bed was pretty comfy and perfect for the much needed rest to continue our trip. The staff made sure our room was ready and quite warm when we stepped through the door. There is cable TV and some booklets for the surrounding area amenities. Bathroom is nice! The water pressure in the shower took us by surprise, it is stronger than ours back home! Perfect for easing our muscles. Water from the sink is amazingly clean and pure, I have never tasted water such as that. In the morning, we paid for the room and the staff so helpfully recommended a place for us to stop and grab breakfast on the way to Fort Kent. We plan on returning and we now know of a perfect little Inn to make our next trip enjoyable!…
