Excellent campground, gorgeous views of the water, with access to walk on the rocky beach! Traffic light out front for ease of getting out onto the main road. IGA grocery store and gas station very close and restaurants and blueberry stores very close. Cheaper prices than in Bar Harbor, too, great deal. Only 50 minutes away from Schoodic Point, too,... We stayed at the Narrows Too in late August. The campground was well laid out and very clean. The hosts were very knowledgable and friendly. The park is very neat the bridge to the Acadia NP Islands. We participted in the "Lobster Experience" at the campground kitchen. This was the best camground activity we have experienced in the 3 years... More

The central reservation center for this national chain of campgrounds bungled my reservation by placing my 5th wheel RV in a “Pull In” site rather than a “Pull Through” site. The agent making the booking clearly was not properly trained or familiar with different RV equipment and the related campsite options. Luckily, the on-site staff immediately caught the error when... They strive for 5 and it shows! Friendly, helpful staff greeted us on arrival with information about the area, tips, ideas & guide books. Site was 50amp f/u, clean & large. Grounds, bathhouse & laundry immaculate. Family activities were great! We camp w/39' fifth wheel.

Everyone in the office very nice and pleasant. It's really just a campground, but most big rig and pull thru sites and good WiFi. Location is within 10 miles of Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. We checked out all the campgrounds in the area and this definitely the best. They have another park but not good for big rigs

We were assigned a pull in site #833 for our travel trailer. Thankfully, the site was big enough to pull in, unhook, and drive our pickup truck back out. We loved the site! It was farther from the waterfront, but these sites away from the waterfront were less expensive and more spacious. Beautiful area of Maine! Fresh air, great restaurants,... More

Not many campgrounds near Mt. Desert Island have full hookups, and that's something we wanted. We could not get a site right on the water, but had just a short walk down to see that. Next time we'll book further ahead to get those premium sites! The folks in the office gave great advice, especially on enjoying the sites at... More

We were thrilled to spend a little extra money to stay with great friends who happened to need a full hookup despite the fact that our westy is self sustainable and we could really use a tent site. The location was great and we have nothing but wonderful things to say about the front desk staff. I have to give... More

Review: Encore Park Hands down, best place to stay in Bar Harbor, Maine is a place called "Narrows Too Camping Resort" in Trenton, Maine. It's literally 25 minutes from the town of Bar Harbor. 20 minutes to Acadia National Park, Cadillac Mountain, Sands Beach, Bubble Rock, and lots of lobster and Fishing, Whale Watching Tour, and of course lots of... Decent campground, and the fact that it is not on the island is a plus when it comes time to leave the area. Avoids all the traffic trying to leave the island. Get an ocean site if possible. Nice views, and much cooler than the open areas that comprise the rest of the park. Need to water the roads, as... More
