We recently stayed 2 nights while visiting Acadia. I would rate this place as a low 2 star - being an old roadside motel. It served our needs - but was basically only a step up from camping. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water. The fire pit was great with lots of wood. Unfortunately the bedding was old and stained (biggest turnoff) and there were some kind of flying bugs in the room. Spend a little more $$ and stay elsewhere.

Stayed two night with some friends and very happy with results. Very clean. Great water pressure in shower. Utilized Wi-Fi. Lots of info available about things to do locally. Enjoyed an amazing sunrise right from my room.

Extremely clean and affordable, plus a huge bonus is that they had a mini-fridge, microwave, and Keurig Coffee machine in the room! We had the Queen bedroom which I believe is the smallest available, but it was perfect for my husband and I. There are bigger rooms for families (I almost rented one to extend our stay). Katherine and the hotel staff are super friendly and made the stay even better! I would book here in the future!

My family spent 3 nights here while visiting Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. We loved the motel! Our room was a nice size, with a kitchenette. Rooms were very comfortable, with a great view of the mountains. It was just a short drive to the Park, and located nearby to several stores and local restaurants. I would definitely recommend this motel and stay here again.

We stayed in a small room. On a positive note, the room was clean and had a microwave, frig and coffee maker. Our room faced out to the highway and it was very noisy. I am concerned about the shower in our room- the tub was on a wooden platform and I was concerned that I would slip coming out after my shower. I am short- 5 feet tall and I could not see myself in the bathroom mirror as it was small and too high up for me to use. There wasn't another mirror in the room. I was very disappointed.

I am glad you found your room to be clean and comfortable. There is a step in that room only and unfortunately it is due to the building and cannot be changed but that is why we have a bar installed on the wall where you step in. I am sorry it did not alleviate your concerns. We have changed the bathroom mirror and added another mirror in the main room. We do have rooms in the back of the building which are quieter and if you had chosen a room with a kitchen you will always get the mountain side but half our rooms are on the road side because of the design of the building. If you book early enough you can request a room on the back. Thank you for taking the time to comment. We are sorry you felt we only deserved 1 star.
