Pristine wilderness home to countless natural wonders and wildlife are just two of the many rewards awaiting you at Wild Fox Cabins and Campgrounds in beautiful Lakeville, Maine in the West Grand Lake Region. Located on legendary Junior Lake, we are a paradise for sportsmen and nature lovers, and a restful retreat that is truly away from it all. There's also swimming, canoeing, kayaking, boating and boat camping on the little islands dotting the lake. The 155 scenic acres surrounding our grounds are spectacularly beautiful and offer bountiful hunting for both large and small game, hiking, leaf-peeping, bird-watching, miles of ATV trails, and in the winter months, snowmobiling, snow-shoeing, cross-country skiing and ice fishing. You're free to bring your own boat and take advantage of the only boat launch on Junior Lake or rent one of ours. During winter months we also rent an ice shack to keep you warm during those ice fishing days. Each cabin sleeps up to 5 people and includes all the amenities. Linens, Kitchen equipment, utensils, bath towels, and TV. In addition to the cabins, we also have a campground with 10 private sites for anyone in your party that would rather rough it.

We booked three nights at Wild Fox Resort this past August. The cabin was outstandingly clean, with all the amentities you could ask for. Dave and Lori go above and beyond to make sure you have the vacation you dreamed of. We also rented one of their boats for the three days of our trip, which comes with a full tank of gas everyday, along with a first class Garmin GPS. We will be returning in the future, and recommend Wild Fox Resort to anyone interested in a relaxing, get-a-way, stress free time away. We can't wait until they build their lodge and provide food at the resort. This will be coming in the near future.

We had some problem getting there but once we found it, it was all worth it!
This newly opened resort is truly immersed in the most splendid and intact nature. Our family had just flown from Paris (France) to Boston and we arrived in WILD FOX RESORT by night. It took us an (emotionally loaded) while to locate the place in the dark (a four wheel drive is highly recommended). But the warm and caring welcome we got made it all worth it. And so did the rest of our stay…
The bungalows, with mezzanine and front porch are spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. The boat, canoe, and kayak rentals offer a quick and easy way to visit miles of beautiful landscape. If really you are into fishing, you will not be disappointed - but if you care for Nature in a more deferential way, you will be able to witness it in its most virgin beauty.
This stay has been our best experience in Maine. We all loved it. …If only it was closer to Paris!!!

We stayed at August 2019 for two nights at cabin #3 , the cabin was very comfort clean and well supplied. The Cabin is close to the lake which was great for swimming and for kayak boating. Its was also great sit at evening on the porch and around the fire. Bevin and Joe were very kind and helpful.
Wonderful and very relaxing stay.

After meeting the owners at an outdoors show, we booked a week in August for Cabin #2. The cabins are pet-friendly (with surcharge) so we brought our two dogs. The stay was better than we could have expected - cabins are well appointed and super-clean, with a back porch overlooking the lake and woods. All linens and kitchen essentials are included. Just sitting outside and listening to the loons was so peaceful - as was sitting by the firepit every evening with s'mores. Bevin maintains a selection of supplies for purchase in the office, in case you forgot to bring something - like a Thermocell! She is very attentive to her guests. Joe is the Registered Maine Guide in camp, and he clearly loves what he does and is a real people person. We went fishing with him one day, and enjoyed his company immensely. We even drove down to Acadia for the day, which was perfectly doable. This was a perfect getaway for us, and we will definitely be back.

Stayed 6 nights in cabin #1, our friends occupied cabin #2. This was our second year returning to Wild Fox, and like last year, everything was just perfect. The cabins are clean, well appointed, and comfortable; the lake is beautiful; the location is remote; the staff is friendly. Especially Joe Jack - he's quite a character! What else can I say? We'll see you next year, Wild Fox!

Stayed a week at Wild Fox Cabins. We had cabin #3. If you like a sportsman adventure (fishing, hiking, ATV, snowmobiling, etc) then you will like this place. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The cabins are clean and have a view of the water. They are constantly making new improvements to the property. Currently they are building a store onsite for the convenience of their guests. Great place to get away from it all and relax. They also have a guide that will take you out fishing.
