This was our first time at Acadia Cottages, and we will definitely be returning in the future. The cabin was immaculate, and all amenities were in order. The owners are lovely and accommodating, available for whatever was needed. The property is within walking distance of restaurants and small shops, and a short drive away from other things, such as grocery stores. We will definitely be back!

This was the perfect stay for a long weekend (or more) getaway! The kitchenette was great for coffee and small breakfast in the morning, there was a bathroom and shower, perfect for after a long day of outdoor activities. Everything was so clean and our studio cottage was so charming. Short drive to Bar Harbor but there were also tons of hikes and restaurants on this “quite side” as well! We will certainly be back again!

We stayed here for three nights and fell in love with the place! The cottages are super cute and very clean. The bed was so comfortable and we had all the necessities that we needed. The owners are very attentive and they keep the property in pristine condition. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!

We’re pleasantly surprised at how perfect these cottages were for us. We stayed in cottage #2 and it was wonderful for our little family (king size bed and our pack and play fit with ample room). Even though we were concerned about the lack of AC in the summer, the ceiling fan with open windows gives way to some great fresh air. We had a wonderful experience with Laurie each time we called and at check in. The cottage was IMMACULATE and the updated appliances were wonderful. We’re used to 4-5 star hotels and these do not disappoint. So private and spacious. Some things to note: Bar Harbor is a solid 25-30 minute drive. Also, it’s extremely dark at the cottages at night. We found this to be relaxing and peaceful. Can’t stress enough how much we adored our stay here. We will be back. Don’t mind the blue blob in the photo-that was to eliminate our daughter running through the picture. Ha!

We decided to travel to Maine and had been looking for rentals on the water for weeks. I had searched and read plenty of reviews about cottages and Acadia Cottages had repetitive reviews on being clean, cozy, and having great owners. I was worried about privacy but I was so pleasantly surprised to have lots of woods around our cabin. One side was close to another, but we were able to face away with our deck and enjoy the natural views. We stayed in Cabin 1. Even though this was not directly on the water, I would highly recommend to any couple or small group to stay. The cabins were so cleaned, spacious, and comfortable. Laurie and her husband were so friendly and welcoming. I would certainly come back here and enjoy all the amenities mentioned in other reviews. My boyfriend loved the soap provided and we really enjoyed having our coffee and tea on the porch each morning. Stay here!
