The burger was good, the scallops were okay, and the salmon was just bad. Not to mention the menu was ridiculously overpriced. Our waitress was sloppy and pushy, even rushing us at times on a slow night. Overall, the worst dining experience on our trip.

We were in town checking out the Lighthouse and stopped for lunch. Service was OK. Food was OK. Sitting outside was nice. The tables are small and quaint. Our server was friendly. I got the Mexican burger and my daughter got the Northeast turkey. Both were alright.

The Dry Dock reminded me a little of my favorite boutique hotel in Asheville, NC. Located above the restaurant, it had old creaky wooden floors and a wide hallway. The rooms are set up nicely with a kitchenette area and comfy furniture. The location is great. Since it's not really a B & B, breakfast is available at several close... More

Room was nicely set up and very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Southwest Harbor is a good place to stay while visiting Acadia due to the lower volume of people and still decent assortment of shops and restaurants. We were there for a week and really didn't want to leave.

My fiance, his brother, and I stayed in Cafe Drydock Inn from July 1 - 3. We booked room #5. First of all - the location is quaint yet not too isolated. You can still walk across the street in this tiny strip of "downtown" Southwest Harbor and grab an ice cream cone, as we did. It's a 15-20 minute... More

In 4 decades of visiting Acadia, this is the worst accommodation I’ve had. A tent at Mt. Desert campground was more comfortable during the great nor’eastern of ’96. Room 2 at the Dry Dock Inn has a mattress like quicksand – soft, sagging, no support and impossible to sleep on. There are 2 wicker chairs that defy leisure postures; fortunately,... More

Room #2 is small and on the road side of the building. We can not turn our building around to change this as this building was first built here in 1897. That is one reason it is so inexpensive to stay in Room #2, and probally why you chose it. The air conditioner is new and all you had to... More

This is absolutely my favorite place to eat when I can step away from work. The food is wonderful, the atmosphere charming and cozy, and the staff is always great. It's also nice to be able to have options between eating indoors and on the deck. It never disappoints.

We had a great stay at Cafe Drydock and Inn during our visit to Acadia NP. Cafe Drydock is located on the "quiet side" of Acadia. It's a sleepy little town (we were told it picks up later in the season.) We stayed in mid June before the season kicks into full gear and are kind of happy we did... More

Southwest Harbor is said to be the "quiet side" of Mount Desert Island, far from the noisy crowds of tourists in Bar Harbor. The Drydock Inn didn't fit our picture—or the pictures on the Inn's website—of charming lodgings in a peaceful setting. The website has many pretty pictures of rooms at the Inn, but none showing the outside of the... More

We are sorry that you did not enjoy your stay here, but at least tell the truth in your review of us. We are an inn located in the center of Southwest Harbor. We have a 100 seat restaurant on the first floor of our building under the same name. We have reviews for our restaurant on TripAdvisor under Café... More

This is a quaint and clean operation. It has a good restaurant on the first floor. Regrettably, our stay was in a noisy room - Room #8. There was lots of clunking from the restaurant/kitchen below. Also, the window of this second-floor room opens on an alley where employees take breaks - the loud employee conversations (included some swearing) and... More
