One of my favorite hotels in the world. Love the character and charm. The breakfast in the morning as delicious and the atmosphere was cozy. We stayed on the top floor and the views were wonderful. Also, great staff.

Has anyone stayed in the Phillips House Land View Suite at the Claremont Hotel in Southwest Harbor, Maine? All of the water view rooms are gone for the 2 nights we want to stay. The only other choice we have is a room in the Cole Cottage. Any opinion on that? We are leaning toward the suite to have more room, but the Cole Cottage rooms do have a partial view and a small balcony. They rent for the same price. We are going in mid June. I have tried to call the hotel and only get a recording. I need to make the reservations soon before even these 2 choices are gone. Any tips or opinions would be appreciated. Thank you.
