A lovely, quiet atmosphere close to everywhere we want to be. The owners could not be friendlier and the other campers have always been delightful. We've met wonderful people every time we visit. Several wonderful ladies of Sister's on the Fly were visiting while we were there. Fun bunch of outdoors women! One negative: we were not prepared for the unhinged "gentleman" that ran out at us on Dunstan Landing Road, waving his middle finger and using profanity as he berated us for putting the neighborhood children in danger. Thank goodness there weren't any kids around to observe his behavior or hear his obscenities. Luckily, we were only going 20 mph and were able to avoid him.
We stayed at this CG the last week they were open. Very quiet, adult only park. We had a nice site overlooking the salt marsh. However if this was the high season then it may be a different scenario. The sites are extremely close together. Our picnic table and fire pit was only 10 feet from the neighbors sewer connection. Others are closer. The entire CG could use a little TLC. Bridges on walking trail are rotted out, bird houses need refurbishing as do the bathrooms, looks like the garden area could stand some attention. Owners are very accommodating.
Service! Yuvi, the owner, came to my coach on a Sunday night to help me install his cable box, so we could watch "the game"!. Very nice! Numerous garbage cans around and recycling at the entry/exit. Very well maintained and CLEAN! Bathrooms and laundry areas also very well taken care of! There are 3 basic types of camp/RV surfaces, sand, gravel and grass. We ended up with the sand surface, and it got a bit messy, plus the pine needles were plentiful. I'd opt for the gravel sites, personally. Decent internet
This was our fourth year visiting Wild Duck and the reason we go back is the wonderful accommodating owners of the campground. The park is very very clean and well maintained. We always enjoy hearing the wild ducks on the pond. We have already scheduled our visit for next year.
Yuvi was very accomodating and helpful in extending our stay over the Columbus Day holiday. Comfortable atmosphere with beautiful scenery. We did see wild ducks in the pond, and our dogs enjoyed the walks onnthe paths there.
